Hang Mua Ecolodge

The location was ideal if you are trying to see Hang Mua at sunrise, or any of the other nearby attractions. It is situated right in the middle of the most beautiful location, and it is stunning when the lotus blossoms are in bloom. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly, and the breakfast buffet is great as well.

As to be expected of an ecolodge, there were some unexpected 'guests' in our room. We didn't mind the occasional cockroach or ant, those were fine (and honestly, rare). But the snake that fell from the ceiling of our room at 4:30am was quite unexpected. That said, the staff was incredibly accommodating in assisting us in removing it, and provided us with an unexpected upgrade to our room as well. Just know, it IS an ecolodge, and you are in the middle of a wetland area, so it comes with the territory. If you are not prepared for such things, perhaps this isn't the place for you.

Loved our outside bath and shower. Also how quiet at night

The place is absolutely gorgeous. The room was clean. Staff were really nice and helpful, specially our driver. Location is unbelievable. Breakfast could use a few improvements. Pretty perfect stay.

Nothing really

Incredible location. Decent facilities on site with a day spa - but not air conditioned (so was not a particularly pleasant activity) Comfy beds.

Issues with electricity going out in our room. This meant; no aircon, lights, phone charging, tv…we were offered different rooms but this meant we needed to pack up all our stuff, carry it down two flights of stairs and set up in our new room. I asked for some form of compensation and we were offered 10%…not really what I thought was reasonable, but that’s just my perspective 🤔
