the Pullman Ninh Binh is a gorgeous high style luxury hotel. the decor is incredible when you walk into the lobby. we stayed 2 nights as part of a longer vacation. what we loved -it’s newly built in 2026 -the common areas are beautiful. it’s very tasteful and classy design and decor - the room is also modern , stylish and luxurious. it’s quite spacious as well. -the location is convenient to most attractions. we were deciding between eco resorts and being closer to ninh binh and we were glad to have chosen a location near the city and also to have a more western styled luxury accommodation (after many eco lodges in sapa). it’s a 5 minute grab to restaurants and shopping, and 20 min to trang an boat tours. what we didn’t love: -since the hotel is new, Isense they have some growing pains, one of which was insects. our room had a lot of insects and i woke up the first morning with lots of bug bites which i believe were ants. but there were also flies/gnats and some other crawling insects. they weren’t just by the patio, they were in the bathroom, by the coffee maker in the bed etc. -we ordered room service when we arrived and the food was brought up on a tray either no covers. as a result the food was quite cold. it was also undercooked. -the breakfast buffet is quite large with lots of options, but the quality of the food was so so, especially compared to other pullmans (Jakarta) that we have stayed at. -our shower didn’t drain well. we talked to the front desk and they immediately fixed the issue.

We stayed at Pullman for 3 nights while we explored Ninh Binh and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room looked identical to the photos online and we were very impressed with the level of cleanliness and amazing customer service we received. Each and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The amenities were great. We tried out all 3 pools and they were well maintained. We also had some laundry done at the hotel and the service was quick and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will come again the next time we stay in Ninh Binh. It was great to explore the area and then come back to a luxurious room at the end of the day. 10/10 experience.

The hotel states it has a spa, steam room, solarium and yoga and fitness studio and two speciality restaurants, a steak house and a Cantonese restaurant. None of these facilities are open yet. They don't tell you this when you're booking, or at check in. They wait until you get to your room, where they have a dear guest letter on the desk, that states None of these facilities are open until late 2026. I also think the location isn't great, as there isn't much around that's walkable. Your literally off a mini dual carriageway. Maybe once all the facilities are open this will be a nice stay, but avoid until then.
