I stayed in 3 guesthouses in Karakol and that one was the best by far. Price is unbeatable. Room is super clean and big. The owner was super nice with me all the time. Correct breakfast.

Cannot speak more highly of this place and the amazing lady who runs it! I originally booked 1 night but ended up coming back as the Lady could organise all the Alu-Kul and Alt Arashan trip. I returned a day earlier than planned, she was fully booked yet she let me stay in the Yurt - FOR FREE! She paid for my taxi to the buses and even offered to take me to the shops after organising the trip. Price wasn’t an issue for me yet she was so transparent with prices, always trying to find a way to make it cheaper. She can find group and private tours, breaks down all costs for you. Her son is a guide who was also very honest and humble as well. I did 2 day 1 night solo trip - private car there (her husband took me), solo trek, horse trekking, overnight yurt with traditional dinner & breakfast, transfer back to Homestay (she even refunded me when she found a cheaper taxi to bring me back). I chose to do more expensive version of the trip yet it was still cheaper than online prices. Her son and daughter do the Laundry as their little own business - fantastic parenting. She is clearly rushed off her feet yet smiles all the time and does everything to help you. She even wakes up at 5am to make sure you’ve had breakfast (great breakfast too). Communication is amazing too, messaging to check everything is ok etc. Facilities are clean and well maintained. The family are always around somewhere but all of them are lovely and helpful.

Nothing! Other guests were a little loud but nothing property can do about this. The Alu-Kul to Alt Arashan hike is tough but so worth it

Am ersten Tag hat die Besitzerin ihre Unterkunft überbuchen lassen, weshalb wir zur Nachbarin umquartiert werden mussten. Am zweiten Tag konnten wir dann beim eigentlich gebuchten Guesthouse unterkommen. Sie verlangt zudem dass man auf Booking storniert, damit sie keine Abgaben an Booking zahlen muss. Ist etwas nervig wenn man erstmal in Ruhe ankommen möchte! Zudem mussten wir 100SOM mehr zahlen. Im Zimmer gab es unglaublich viele Fliegen, die uns beim Schlafen gestört haben. Wir wurden 3 mal gefragt, wann wir das Frühstück serviert haben wollen und trotzdem war es am nächsten Morgen zu spät. Am anderen Tag stand es schon 1,5 Stunden vorher auf dem Tisch im Esszimmer, war kalt und die Fliegen beglückten sich daran. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war schlecht, Klopapier hat ständig gefehlt.
