Céntrico y fácil ubicación

Good location near Atocha Central Station, good connection to the public transportation, proximity of the main museums and tourist attractions. Connectivity with airport via the express bus. Friendly staff and host. Supermarkets situated close enough.

Not the entire unit was on the ground floor, as described in the accessibility section of the Booking site. There was a basement bedroom with no window, no phone signal (only wifi), no natural light, and only accessible via a steep and uncomfortable staircase (which you also have to carry your luggage up). The second bedroom, on the ground floor, overlooked a narrow inner courtyard, where a restaurant kitchen was removing odors through a pipe, but much of it lingered in the courtyard, making it inconvenient for me to open the window of the bedroom. Also, because of the narrow courtyard, the window had to remain covered by the blinds for privacy, so there wasn't much natural light in the ground floor bedroom either. The living room was poorly insulated from street noise, had no window and only had natural light coming through the obscure glass of the entrance door. It was definitely not what I expected from an apartment rated with 9 on the Booking.com, after many years of using the site.
