Ambrogio 33 - three bedrooms three bathrooms

The host Simone communicated very clearly and was very patient when our train was an hour late. She rearranged her schedule to meet us when we finally arrived. The apartment is just one flight up and has wonderfully tall ceilings and is everything you would imagine a Florence apartment to be. The A/C was AMAZING!!! I read so many reviews about bad a/c experiences, but you will NOT be disappointed here!!! It was 100º EVERY day we were there and we could not wait to get back and turn on the units and bask in the coolness. The apartment comes fully furnished with everything you need, including a washing machine, and a huge drying rack that can easily handle a full load. Wifi was fast, and Simone was one of the most communicative hosts we have ever had at an apartment rental. She checked on us often, she called taxis for us twice, recommended restaurants, etc. A wonderful stay and 3 minutes from the big mercado, 7 minutes to the cathedral, so close to everything including the Conad grocery store.

Mattress in the bedroom behind the kitchen was about 3/10 for comfort. Also, a solution to charge electronics is needed, especially in bedroom behind kitchen. The outlet is right next to your head when you sleep with cords running behind the mattress. Lamps with a built-in outlet or lamps with charging spots are super helpful in this day and age. A little direction booklet would be welcome with instructions about washer and stovetop coffee pot.

Great value and a fantastic location only a short walk to all the Santa Croce sights and duomo. Was also very quiet considering the location. The host met us at the property and gave us good local tips.
