Great location, many things need improvement

The location is simply great. The staff is readily available, but it takes some convincing to get them to actually do something, because they use services for everything - cleaning, check-in, etc, is all done by other companies. The place was quiet enough, there was some noise from inside the building, but only during the day, not late at night. The walls seem thin, though, so I imagine that it could get noisy if the neighbours get noisy. Checking in was easy, the lockbox instructions, etc, we're easy to follow.

There is an unskippable online registration process, in order to get the code to the lock box. You don't know about it until after you pay, and you have to disclose all kinds of information and upload your passport (unless you are German) to a service the proprietors hire for this purpose. This might be a legal requirement, it would be nice to know about it, first. Also, I'm not really comfortable giving all my details to a another company. As mentioned the staff respond quickly, but it takes some convincing to get them to actually do something, because they use services for everything - cleaning, check-in, etc, is all done by other companies. Cleanliness!! The apartment is simply not cleaned well. The middle of the room might be clean, but there is dust in every corner. The radiator in the bathroom is covered in dust. Shelves that are not empty seem to be never wiped. I don't want to imagine what's under the bed. The cleaning appliances are just lying in a heap behind the entrance door, and the fact that there is a (flat) mop, but no bucket, makes you wonder whether this mop is just there to evenly spread the dirt. The shower curtain is too long and will either invade your space or hang outside the shower, which will get everything wet. (unless you hike it up with pegs, which we did) There are no shower mats, either, so one towel will have to be used for that, and it will probably be dirty, very soon. The hosts are stingy with toilet paper, because, you guessed it, they use a service for that. No sofa is present, only the bed or chairs. The number of items in the kitchen is very small. No decent knife. No cutting board. People smoke right outside the door. Not the host's fault but it's a factor.
