It was a comfortable stay with a minor inconvenience

The studio was clean and tidy, and the location was great, within walking distance of a tram stop. We also appreciated how close it was to a shopping complex, cafes, etc. The apartment was well-equipped and had almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

One downside, however, was that there was no soap provided in the shower, which was weird. We had to go out and buy shower gel ourselves.

Nice but

Clean, comfortable, nice staff, lockbox and location.

Not soundproof, that was really really noisy at night with peoples in the same building. And so many useless lights inside the studio, heater, TV, things ... Not really relaxing. The water of the shower have a poor jet and was not very hot.

Comfortable

Perfect location, indeed close to the city center. Tidy apartment and fully equipped. There were even subtle Christmas decorations, that was nice. The owner was friendly and very quick to respond to my emails. I arrived late, but I was lucky to have an available parking spot in front of the entrance. However, parking is public and not numbered and might probably be fully occupied. I don't know, maybe there's always a spot =)

I liked everything about it. Just as a note: I do not think that it is suitable for a long-term vacation, especially if you planning to stay a lot of time inside or to have a stunning view from the window. During the day it might be not as well bright, as the building itself is in the courtyard of a block of flats, which means it is surrounded on all sides by walls of houses. But if you're planning a business trip or sightseeing and will spend most of your time out of the apartment, it will be no big deal.

Exceptional

Nice cosy apartment, some lovely little touches in the room to welcome us. great communication from the host who was flexible and very helpful when our plans were forced to change due to unforseen circumstances

It was very hot when we were there and the room did get a bit hot at night but I would not expect this to be an issue for most of the year

Great apartment, just noisy in the morning

Apartment was great, super clean, massive bed and all facilities like fridge, hob, kettle (with some complimentary coffee and tea), toaster And microwave! Shower was lovely as well, and location is very central. Self Checking in and out with key and code very convenient. We arrived very late at night and Helene, the host, kindly let us check out 1 h later. If it wasn't for the noise in the morning I would have given a 10.

Walls quite thin. We could hear everything in the morning and it was quite noisy between people checking out and works just outside the flats.

We rented 2 apartments The apartment I stayed in was very cold, The temperature outside was -9 degrees and inside the apartment we could not get more than 17,5 degrees. We complained the first night, the host send a person next day to turn up the heating. But it did not help. We stayed 2 days in a very cold apartment. The front door is not sealed, cold air coming from a big gab between the door and the floor. The second apartment all was good. The apartments has been renovated and all is new inside. But the entrance has no light and cables are hanging from the wall.

Superb

The apartment is located very close to the city center in a quiet area and can be reached from the main street. Although we arrived at 9 pm, we took the keys very quickly and settled in. the photos correspond to reality, the bed is very big and comfortable. Well maintained clean.

NO Wi-Fi / No Telekom or O2 Connection inside apartment/ Host never replied to fix WiFI

Be ready to be disconnected from the world. Mobile internet provider O2 and Telekom de do not have connection inside the apartment. Vodafone very few and just now and then. Her Wi-Fi never worked because it was a Vodafone router , I asked the host to fix it for 3 days, she NEVER REPLIED. To make some phone call I had to go outside the apartment in the middle of the street. I will attach the screenshot of the chat if she try to deny. The apartment is located in a completely dark courtyard, no light at all, even also in the hallway. Without the cell phone flashlight you are not able to see anything. Completely dark because there are no light at all , not because some unlucky days. The apartment in anyway is pretty nice and clean. Worst Host ever.

water pressure is way too low and construction works in the building on a Saturday! and any noise that happens outside you can here it like it’s right in the apartment ( car parking, people walking ) and vice versa

the entrance is a bit shady, it looks unfinished. no signs so it is hard to find. the wifi wasnt working properly sometimes.

Central location but you get what you pay for.

Excellent location and very easy communication. Easy to find and no personal contact required to check in or out. Low price point.

This is a converted garage and there is no sound-proofing the the inner yard with lost of people and cars passing in early hours. There was lot lots of noise every night so even with earplugs this was annoying. The entrance area seems to undergo major works with lots of holes and crevices in the walls and no working lights. The shower tray fills up within two/three minutes so that showring has to be very limited or the place will flood thanks to an almost clogged drain.

Decent, but odd

It’s tricky to review this place. There wasn’t actually anything wrong. It was clean, bed was comfortable and rain shower very nice. It’s just a really odd place. In the photos it looks like a proper apartment, but it’s actually a sort of converted garage. No sound isolation at all, but we didn’t have noisy neighbours, so can’t really complain. It was just a strange place, but again - didn’t have any problems and it was nice and clean. Great location in central Karlsruhe.

Outside is not nice. Unfinished building site and just dodgy looking. The place desperately needs aircon or a fan.

Located well in a neighbourhood with some traffic calming, easily accessible by bike and public transit nearby. Supermarkets, bars, restaurants all within walking distance. There's a small kitchen with all the essential cookware and dishes. The bed is very comfortable.

The water pipes are fairly loud, as are the doors. While the apartment itself is located in a calm courtyard, you'll hear everything the guests in the next door apartment do.
