Milavila ubud

Impresionante finca privada y aislada con todo lujo de detalles

Milavila was the perfect backdrop for our vacation. It is located in Ubud's best kept secret, Laplapan, which is in Ubud but still quiet and peaceful and surrounded by rice fields. The villa is STUNNING, tucked away in the jungle, with beautiful views. The team is really helpful and accommodating. And the quality of furniture and ceramics didn't go unnoticed. I will definitely stay at Milavila every time I pass through Ubud.

I wish that the two private rooms could convert to twin beds so that it could fit more people.

Le personnel disponible et très agréable. Propriétaire très sympathique. Le jardin et la vue splendide sur la jungle. La piscine très grande et bien entretenue.

L’éloignement des magasins et d’Ubud. Les chambres totalement séparées d’où un manque d’intimité pour une famille. Mieux adapté pour 4 couples. Mobilier du salon peu confortable. Salle de bain ouverte ayant un mur commun avec des voisins qui ne sont pas visibles mais qui peuvent être entendus, un peu gênant!

The entire place was ours, so each of the kids had their own 'villa' with en-suite which was huge! The photos don't do it justice, it exceeded expectations. It appears brand new as do all the appliances in the villas and kitchen area. WiFi was great and we were able to watch Netflix when it poured with rain. The pool is beautiful, as was the view of manicured gardens with a backdrop of raw jungle. The location is out of town, however we were able to rent scooters for an excellent rate, organised by the property manager Asti. I highly recommend this, as then you are free to get around anywhere and visit local waterfalls, monkey forest, go into ubud for lunch/dinner etc in your own time. The staff made us breakfast every morning, which was a great way to start the day. They were lovely, helpful and eager to please.

There was always a staff member present, and while discreet, it would have been better to only have them there at pre-arranged times, for more privacy. Also there are people living next door to the middle villa, their house shares a wall with the bathroom. They can't see you, so it's private in that way, but you can certainly hear each other when in the bathroom. Given all the open spaces and tranquil surroundings, I found it slightly odd to have them so close.
