Surely coming back at some point

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with snacks and tea, setting the tone for a fantastic stay. The owners, a lovely Western and Indonesian couple, were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. The accommodation was maintained to a very high standard, providing both comfort and style. One of the highlights for us was how pet-friendly the villa was—our two pets were welcomed with open arms. Our boy dog had an absolute blast running around the rice fields, occasionally chasing ducks, but the hosts were so understanding and relaxed about it, which we truly appreciated. The room service was excellent, and having a well-stocked minibar and snacks in the room was a nice touch. The entire experience was seamless, thanks to the kind and attentive hosts. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would love to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay

Amazing tranquility in a convenient location

The view from our villa over the rice fields was spectacular. We also had our own pool that helped us keep cool.

There are some minor details that have been overlooked and if added would take this property to the next level. They need to provide pool towels. Have poolside loungers would be great. Restocking of minibar every day needs to be done.

The view of the rice fields was phenomenal. The room was clean and well equipped with a great view of the fields and the pool.

What a precious cozy jem of a place! I loved everything about it! ❤️ 😍 Unpretentious and laid back, rice fields everywhere, which you can explore at any time, unbothered. Peace and quiet. The villa I stayed in was comfy, spacious, great light, well maintained, with a stunning view of the rice terraces. Staff was great as well, food was yum. Got the chance to meet the owner Alex and Stef and they're super friendly and lovely to chat with! Recommend it wholeheartedly! 🙏

This was a lovely stay for us. Beautiful villa in the middle of the jungle area. The staff were super nice and helpful. The location can be tricky but close to everything popular in Ubud. Would defo recommend this to everyone

Peace & tranquillity

The staff were so friendly and went above & beyond for us. One of our travel companions injured his leg and the staff were very helpful in communicating with doctors, the hospital, etc. It made the situation a little more bearable. Although it is in a remote area, we were aware of this prior to booking. We loved the environment and they offer a free shuttle each day. Morning walks around the rice paddies and local village were a highlight of our time at Kayangan Villas

Breakfast by the pool was available. The staffs’ services were amazing in general. The bed was comfy also.

The wooden floor in the rooms can be a little slippery so please be careful. Also, the location of the villa is slightly further away from Ubud town but the fresh air and peace compensated for it.

The surroundings are just amazing, very authentic and a nice place to disconnect from the routine and stressful life in the city, there are a few non-touristic and beautiful places to visit around. The breakfast was very good and generous. They have daily free transportation to Ubud center, that is around 25 minutes away by car. The staff was very helpful and kind. We would recommend and love to come back.

The place is clean and very welcoming. The staffs were ready to serve. Even in the middle of the pouring rain, they came to my room without delay to help out. The pool is gorgeous and just added to the ambiance. We went there to relax and it is definitely the place to do so. It is not close to the busy part of Ubud, hence away from pollution! We really enjoyed the scenery and hanging out at the outdoor lobby and by the pool. We had no problems with the WiFi there. I forgot to cancel my kids' online classes and had to use their WiFi to attend class. They did fine.

It's not the property's fault, but it was raining practically the whole time we were there. We didn't have the chance to enjoy the pool at all. When we go back I hope that the weather would be kinder to us then.

It's exactly what were were looking for.

We had really good sleep there because their AC worked well, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were great! We ordered basic dishes and found that the breakfast definitely met our expectations. We understood that in the morning, the staff would be busy fulfilling everyone's orders so definitely give them some patience. I did have to work while there and asked the staff to help with the internet and I didn't have a problem at all with multiple Zoom calls.

It's not the villa's fault, but it was raining cats and dogs while we were there and my kids couldn't swim in the awesome looking pool :( They were able to walk around the premises with ease and umbrellas though.
