Amazing!

Everything!!! Lawani is a truly beautiful and welcoming place. The service is exceptional, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Everything about our stay, also the food, was outstanding. We highly recommend Lawani Resort. On our honeymoon anniversary, the team surprised us with flowers, a cake, and singing—it was incredibly touching. Lawani is such a joyful and peaceful place, and these memories will stay with us for a lifetime.

Paradise hotel

The location of the hotel, surrounded by rice field, no noise at night. It was so relaxing to be at the place. It's a very good choice to stay there to visit Ubud but to avoid Ubud noise at night The activities that the team organises are excellent. Thanks to the team,I went to a purification ceremony, it was my best moment in Bali. The hotel provides a free shuttle to go to Ubud. The food is delicious and the team does its best to please you. The rooms are very comfortable, with real mosquito net and electric mosquito repellent. You have slippers and bathrobs to go to the pool and the spa which provides excellent massages. In a word , this hotel is paradise

Amazing stay! 10/10 recommend!!!

This resort is the best option available in the area! The Breakfast included was awesome. Good variety of food and tasteful! They have a local food menus and western. I saw most other villas on the area did not have a place to eat, so they would all go eat at the Lawani restaurant! Staff was amazing, especially Yuika. She was always available to satisfy all my family needs! Overall 10 out of 10, would recommend to anyone going to Bali! Definitely worth the drive from the airport.

Excellent

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for when I decided to visit Bali. Traditional Balinese cabins overlooking terraced paddy fields with a beautiful pool and restaurant serving traditional food with western options. I was only there one night but could have easily stayed for a week or more in this peaceful haven. It’s close to Ubud with all that provides and a stone’s throw from Pura Tirta Empul which is a must see and do. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. If you don’t get the opportunity to stay here at least go to eat in the restaurant and soak up the essence of real Bali.

Wonderful place

The grounds were just beautiful. Really serene and set among the rice terraces. The staff and owners were so caring and helpful. Everyone made sure my two young daughters were enjoying themselves. Many thanks for a wonderful stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

There was an automatic scent machine in the room that dispensed on a timer, and I found it quite strong, but we just removed it. No problem really, it just took me a bit to figure out where it was coming from. Everything else was great.

Bali nature and hospitality paradise

It’s a paradise for nature lovers. The staff was also the kindest possible and extremely considerate. I have never met such hospitable and professional personel. The way they handled problems was the top level of professionalism. Also, it was spotless clean and the food was delicious with many options to choose from. Of course Yuika stole our heart ( as you can see in other guest reviews), but the Manager, Lita and others were also very wonderful and understanding. They adjusted to our needs and pampered us. They are a real Lawani Family.

Personally I loved everything because I love nature. If you don’t maybe it’s better to stay in the city. But not many places can compete with the wonderful views that Lawani Resort offers.

Unforgettable experience in a charming resort

The resort is in the middle of rice fields, you can often listen to the sound of moving water. The bungalows are beautiful and very clean. The room has AC, a minibar, lots of equipment, and the bed was really comfortable. We enjoyed our private pool but a bigger shared pool is also available. The staff is amazing, so nice and positive. We always got a quick reply to our questions or requests, in person or by Whatsapp. I can't recommend enough to contact Yuika who was so friendly and helpful from the beginning. Lita from reception and Puspa at the restaurant as well. The food was delicious and quite cheap, especially with the discount. Balinese food but also Thai and western dishes are on the menu. There was a special dinner on Thursday night that included a Balinese traditional dance show. The resort is not far from Ubud and they propose a lot of activities. There's a lot to say but our stay was fantastic

Only issue I got was that the breakfast was delicious but a part of it is the same everyday so if you stay a week, it might get repetitive.

harmonious place

Lawani still keeps the essence of traditional Bali. Great customer service, sincere smiles, and respect for clients. Good restaurant. Large pool. Beautiful view of the rice fields. Within walking distance is the water purification temple. It was a big surprise to see no mosquitoes. At an altitude of 600 meters there is a pleasant mild climate. We’d like to thank Yuika for her excellent organization and all team for a fantastic holiday.

Quiet paradise

Thank you all Lawani staff. They were all so welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. Great local suggestions and always ensuring we were taken care of. The restaurant's food was delicious. Serenity

Everything about our stay was perfect! Being out in nature and away from the tourism noise made it incredibly relaxing. The resort has everything you could possibly need onsite, including a restaurant with absolutely delicious food. We enjoyed wonderful massages at the spa, complimentary breakfasts, had our laundry done, and experienced the most stunning Balinese candlelight dinner. Our villa was gorgeous and the staff were exceptionally friendly—nothing was ever too much for them. We plan on returning every year!

It’s not a negative for us, but the location is quite remote, and as you’d expect in the rainforest by the rice fields, there’s plenty of wildlife and bugs. Expected but worth mentioning for future travellers.

Awesome stay!

Everything! The place is in the middle of rice fields in very quiet Sebatu Village. We took the Junior Suite and it is perfect for couples. The room has a nice view on the jungle with a small garden with a hot pot. The staff is superb and makes you feel like at home in no time. The location is great if you are looking for a nice walk (or bicycle ride) in the rice field. You can also visit some temples and learn about the balinese culture or reach few nice waterfall. If you are looking for a place to relax this is the perfect place. If you are looking for night life I would suggest to look for something closer to Ubud.

Our stay was a 10/10. First, the hotel in itself is magical. The rooms are super clean, quiet, and charming, with a view on the rice fields. The pool is great as well and has a stunning view! The breakfast options are SO worth it. Most importantly, thank you so much to Yuika and all of the team for your warm welcome, attention to detail and help for extra services (laundry, shuttle...). Everything was so smooth, it allowed us to disconnect completely for our holiday. For a hotel that opened its doors only in June, it is very impressive how you managed to do everything perfectly!! A true hidden paradise in the heart of the jungle. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by lush nature that instantly soothes the soul. The rooms are incredibly spacious and filled with natural light, with large windows that make you feel completely immersed in the beauty of the jungle. Peaceful, incredible location in the rice fields, professional

The resort is wonderful, as the atmosphere is paceful and the location wonderful. Very well integrated in the rice fields, it transmits a lot of positivity. We personally stayed in a villa with views to the rice field and it’s perfect! A lot of space, private swimming pool and clean. The staff is very kind and available, they are so professional and attentive. If we ever return, we would book again here!

Magical and enchanting place

Magical and enchanting place just outside Ubud. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday and the staff went out of their way to arrange last minute special Balinese diner in a beautiful mesmerizing ambiance of the Traditional Balinese house. Staff is super helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. Amazin inifinity pools with wise view over the rice fields. Definitely would recommend booking as your stay in Ubud!

Perfect couple getaway

My fiancé and I stayed for one week at Lawani Resort and we had a wonderful time. The staff is really amazing and go above and beyond to make your holiday a memorable one! The resort is about 30 minutes from central Ubud, which makes the area very calm and relaxing. With a great view over the rice fields. Great food is served in the restaurant all day and evening. The villa with the private pool is so luxurious - there is no better way to start your morning than with a swim here! We ordered a floating breakfast and flower bath one morning after a private yoga session. Highly recommend! One night we also ordered a private candlelight dinner which was a highlight of our stay! They provide a shuttle to Ubud so that you can explore during the day. There are also full day tours with a local driver you can book if you want to explore further around the surrounding area. The purification experience down the road in the waterfall with a guide was our favorite! Really such a nice experience and we highly recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing enjoyable experience away from the crowds!

Had golden days staying in Lawani. Perfect for lonely travelers, couples or families that are looking for a quiet and peaceful place. They offer massage and yoga classes for customers Stayed in a villa with a private pool and close to a natural waterfall running throughout the resort. The bed is so comfortable, bedroom very clean with housekeeping every morning. Restaurant serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at any time. They can deliver in your room. Staff is very nice and always with a smile on the face :) I strongly recommend Lawani Resort

Íbamos para 3 días y nos quedamos 5. La habitación es increíble: una cabaña con jardín y una bañera exterior con agua caliente frente a una cascada. Cama comodísima y todo cuidado al detalle. El resort es precioso, muy natural (nos encantó ver a la tortuga y aún cerdito) y el personal es súper educado. Comfort, relax, buon cibo e natura

La location è splendida, immersa nella natura e molto rilassante. Lo staff è estremamente gentile e disponibile, inoltre ogni mattina la camera veniva pulita. Il resort offre molti servizi, come spa e ristorante (cibo era sempre buono e di qualità) che rendono il soggiorno comodo e piacevole sotto ogni aspetto.
