Great location amongst rice fields and nature. Quiet area. Rented a scooter and easy to travel to ubud and surrounding attractions. Hotel does have everything you need. Great breakfast!!

We stayed at Lawani Resort as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), and honestly, it was such an amazing place! The whole resort is so beautiful — all in traditional Balinese style, surrounded by rice fields and nature. We were there for only 2 nights, but we really made the most of it — exploring the traditional Balinese house, walking through the rice fields, and just soaking it all in. Our 2 rooms came with a private pool, which looked amazing, even though we didn’t really have time to use it because we were swimming in the big pool by the restaurant most of the time. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and they even made lovely bed decorations for us, which was such a nice touch. The bathrooms were spotless too. What really stood out for me was how exotic and peaceful everything felt — the sounds of nature were incredible. You just wake up to birds and that calm jungle vibe… it was “wow” every time. We were offered afternoon tea both days, which was really tasty, and breakfast with that view over the rice fields… just stunning. The restaurant food was amazing too — we tried a few different dishes, and all of them were delicious! But the best part? The people! Everyone working there was just so kind, friendly, and genuinely happy — from the reception to the cleaning staff, restaurant team, and the lovely Yuika (and others whose names I sadly forgot). They all made us feel so welcome and cared for. You can tell they love what they do — it really makes the whole experience special. Our girls even enjoyed using the small gym one rainy afternoon, which was a nice little bonus. Honestly, we loved everything about Lawani Resort and really wished we could’ve stayed longer — a week or two would’ve been perfect! Such a magical place with beautiful people and the most amazing views. Highly, highly recommend it! 🌾💚 Suksama ❤️

I could say that the location of the resort is outstanding if you really want to get away from foot traffic and loud party seekers. But if do not have scooter or a car to travel somewhere then you may have hard time getting to places around by yourselves, because it's very remote place away from most restaurants and attractions. As for the staff, I found them too eager trying to spend customer's money, maybe too eager that will make you uncomfortable at times. I understand that people travel and vacation to another country to spend money, contribute to the host country's tourism industry, and have a great time. But no one should feel like they have to spend their money to make the staff feel better or make up for slow season. I was already ready to spend good enough if I felt it was deserving vacation, but the approach the assistant manager took to ensure I had to pay more on my stay at the hotel made me bit uncomfortable at the end. Maybe they lack true customer experience or they may be pressured to reach some type of quota?! Anyways, if you decide that country view and few days away from traffic is good for I would definitely recommend the place.
