We were looking for a place away from the crowds and this was that place. Beautiful & Tranquil up in the hills and paddy fields - spectacular views. Staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. Added bonus was that the owner who was Italian but had lived in Bali for 40 years was always available with some relevant information about what to do and where to visit. He booked us into a restaurant for New Years Eve and even though it was very busy we were very well looked after.
Nothing negative but it was away from any major towns so the taxi from the airport to hotel was almost 3 hours.

Stunning property, with a marvellous view, most kind, polite and helpfull host. Great breakfast, yoga chalet to enjoy our daily practice with incredible rice terraces view. Spa treatment and massage were also very very special. Quite, relaxing and beautifull overall. 2 days are not enough and we will be back

Location amazing with astonishing views of a rice terrace. You can even go down and walk between the rice fields. Japanise style is really cool and the staff was really friendly and familiar. Resturant is also really good and the cooking was delicious both indonesian and italian.
We cannot ask for more in our stay in the north of tegallalang. The resort is aslo not far from Mt Batur.

Our stay at this resort was absolutely perfect. The property is elegant and refined, with an incredible attention to detail, from the architecture to the interiors, everything is designed with taste and harmony. Every corner feels curated to create a serene and luxurious atmosphere.
The views and the SPA are simply stunning, adding an extra touch of magic to the experience and making every moment unforgettable.
What truly sets this place apart is Sebastiano, the owner. A special person, he offered us support 24/7 and was there even during a health emergency, showing genuine care and kindness.
This is much more than just a resort, it is a sanctuary of beauty, peace, and heartfelt hospitality. Absolutely outstanding.
NOTHING!!! everything is AMAZINGš i didnāt like that i couldnāt stay any longer ahahah

Everything was amazing: the room, the views, the facilities, the restaurant. But what truly made our stay special is the hospitality of Sebastiano and his team (Gede, Katur, Mona, the therapists). I recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for serene holidays in Bali away from the crowds.

I absolutely loved the Japanese style of the room and the view from the balcony. The rooms are super wide!
We were lucky because we were there before the high season, so we enjoyed the swimming pool and the tranquility of the hotel all by ourselves.
You can enjoy your own rice field without any crowd.
Nobody mentioned that there is a farm next to the resort. We heard pigs squealing very loudly several times while we were trying to relax by the swimming pool. It was terrible; we thought we were witnessing the animals being slaughtered. I donāt want to put a bad review for this, but I think they REALLY need to do something about it because many tourists come to this luxury place, and some, like us, are vegetarians who could feel very uncomfortable hearing those noises.
It's true that the swimming pool is really small; if there's more than 3 people, it can be hard to fully enjoy it.
The breakfast was really light. We were still hungry and had to buy something else on our way back to ubud city center while we used to eat 2 meals a day (breakfast and dinner). That would be nice to have a full breakfast set with sweet and savory food.

Food is good considering the price points and amount of rooms. Room is amazing as always and unbeatable view which is always our favourite part. Seba is a lovely host and owner and always around to help and make sure we are looked after. Thank u!
Highly recommend during a water cleanse in the next door sebatu waterfall and walk back to the property through the rice fields.

Food was amazing, room was spacious, requested a double bed wasn't available- incredible views. Sebastiono was very hospitable kind and very helpful. Staff were beautiful friendly and very helpful.
Unfortunate I got woken up by other guests wanting to leave at 4am . Slamming doors multiple times. Woke up tired and bit grumpy.

Nice room overlooking the rice terrace. You can walk down into the terraces from the pool area. Rooms were spacious, great bathroom. Breakfast was great, good location only a short drive away from the main tourist area.

The hotel is located on a ricefield terrace and the view is amazing. Staff were very polite and helpful. We are so happy we chose suarapura resort. The food and breakfast was good. The view of our room was amazing. The shampoo and body wash dispenser in the shower need a little update but overall everything was clean
Everything was nice no negative point

The location is picturesque, peaceful and the greenery from the forrest and rice paddies is calming to body mind and spirit. The staff is exceptionally attentive and genuinely welcoming.
The restaurant offers authentic Italian, Balinese and international cuisine and is highly recommendable.
The view from the infinity pool is as breathtaking as from the restaurant and the beautiful spacious and clean rooms feature a balcony for amazing sunrises.
The yoga shala and spa is an extra bonus to this resort and makes Suarapura the best place to stay for an unforgettable vacation, and only 25 minutes from Ubud.

I liked the view and room are quite big
Clean
The destination to the property is terrible, takes two hours from the airport and no near activity. I would recommend it for honeymoon visits.
The restaurant was limited and no room service only emergency contact

The view of the rice terraces is simply incredible! The place is very quiet , so you can easily have a body and soul retreat in this place!
The resort needs to be a bit freshen up.
Simple things like slippers, glasses in the room, welcome drink , TV in the room were missing

The resort is near a small village, so it is very quiet and calm. The view is amazing, all the facilies as well. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The staff is very helpful š especially Ketut, that really walks an extra mile for you! We loved to stay here and start exploring Bali! ā¤ļø

I have stayed at dozen of hotels. This is one by far best stays/experiences ever. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing.
Overall, I had a great experience. The amenities were great. Best highlight for us was floating breakfast at the pool! This definitely has made our honeymoon very special.

gorgeous hotel with an amazing view over the rice fields. staff are nice and helpful but kind of leave you do your own thing.
the floating breakfast was great to try.
we had the impression it was a social place, like a yoga retreat or something like this but it was very much a very quiet couple's hotel. we didn't get talking to any of the other guests.
it's far away from everything so you always have to get a taxi to do anything.

I love the Japanese style of the Villa and apartments. great is that the bed is located direction the balcony so you have an amazing view. Lotās of greenery with birds and insects. If you like nature this is the place.
Had a very nice Balinese massage. The diner was very nice. Nice pool.
Small breakfast, although the oatmeal tasted great, but only this is not enough. I ordered
one coffee and they charged 42K, sorry but this is almost double the price then in Ubud and no barista coffee either.
would be nice to have a bath in the room. the plugs for the light next to the bed are a bit on a weird place. you can not switch of the lights from the bed.
There is a water kettle for coffee but some tea would also be nice. I had the bad luck that some people started to saw the wood early morning .
Would definitely consider to come back.

I was looking for a quiet place out of the city area. Suarapura resort is the best choice I made. Nana and Mona was very welcoming when I was there, they taken care of me with my breakfast and meal. The manager responded my request on whatsapp promptly and really very accommodating to help me book spa and other things. I am a swimmer and really enjoy my swim in the pool! Just a nice size for leisure swim activity. This resort has a breathtaking view. I was hiking to Mt Batur on my 2nd day in Bali to see the sunrise, and you know what, the beautiful sunrise is just right in front of my hotel room here where I could just layback comfortably on my bed and enjoy the sunrise in Bali! It was beyond my expectation. You can also enjoy their spa in the hotel after your long day trip and have a really good sleep!
You will be staying with some small insects and little animals, that's fine for me, as it is build in the jungle, and this is actually their home!
If there are some activities for guests to participate, that will be great!

Everything!
This place is a little bubble nearby the busy Ubud. (15 to 20 min by car from Ubud)
The staff are so friendly and available. Rooms are always clean, they clean and change towels every day. In the room you'll have a glass bottle of drinkable water refillable at the restaurant instead of plastic bottles everyday. I think it's worth the mention.
The owner is also so nice, he shared with us some of his favourite place around the first day and I really liked sharing a little of our stories together.
We stayed 4 nights, had time to try almost all the dishes on the menu :D It is seriously delicious. Please give it a try. It has Asian dishes and Italian dishes (as the owner is Italian).
I also recommend the yoga class to try in the morning. I felt really good after it.
They don't have a laundry service but called a service from outside for us. Our clothes came back 24hours later fresh and clean.

We arrived at night and the manager was kind enough to open the kitchen and feed us a little bit even though it was 10pm.
Breakfast was included daily and was simple and delicious.
Rooms were spacious.
Very quiet and calming atmosphere. Slept very well!
It is also in the hills so it is nice and cool temperature wise.
Nothing really.
