たかね荘

Really nice traditional Japanese accommodation. The hosts were amazing- really helpful and friendly. The location is good, there are a number of nice restaurants and cool bars/ coffee shops nearby and the bus to Iwatake/ Happo One ski resort is a 5 min walk. You have to order the breakfast/ dinner in advance for an extra cost but we had breakfast which was really nice.

The gentleman running the establishment was the kindest host I’ve ever dealt with. Incredibly accommodating and kind, and willing to deal with my lack of Japanese. I liked the traditional room and the pillows. It was very close to a free shuttle to Hoppo-one. Washer and dryer available and no charge. The breakfast was simple, but divine. I met interesting people. The wood floors in the place were something to see.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I after the first day, I could not get the shower temperature more than just warm. After being out and freezing temperatures all day skiing that was problematic because I could not get warm. I could’ve just gone to one of the many Onsen in the area.

傳統的日本旅館，從公共區域到房間、廁所、浴室整理的一塵不染。可以預定早餐和晚餐，每天餐點的菜色都會做變化，冬季的下午特定時段還會提供甜湯。此外，還有提供洗衣機、冰箱供住客使用。步行10-15分鐘就能抵達岩岳滑雪場，步行3分鐘也有雪場的免費接駁公車可以搭。

洗澡的時間只有20分鐘，有點趕，雖然有浴池，但沒什麼時間泡。
