This delightful studio fulfilled all our expectations. It is located at the boundary between Charenton and Saint-Maurice, merging seamlessly into the eastern districts of Paris (Daumesnil, BNF etc). We know the area well and stay there several times a year, as it presents all the advantages of Paris such as the same architecture, fast and dense public transport, and fewer disadvantages such as high cost. Several metro stations on line M8 and several convenient bus lines take you into Central Paris in 20 minutes, or to other districts similarly fast. There is plenty of diverse and convenient shopping opportunity and a few good restaurants, besides nice cafés, bakeries etc. The studio is a very short walking distance to the Bois de Vincennes, vast wooded parkland very convenient for jogging, cycling or just walking, with a large pond and various other features. The studio is small yet spacious, well-designed and furnished in a single rectangular space. Everything was spotlessly clean and everything worked. We had no intention of cooking, but all the cooking faciities and equipment looked great and, again, spotlessly clean. The photographs are faithful to reality. Access was extremely easy via 2 codes (no physical keys needed) that the owner sent me in plenty of time before arrival. We encountered a couple of neighbours in the courtyard, who were very friendly and welcoming.
