Le Volte

Practically loved everything. Upon arrival the fridge was stocked with water, milk, yogurt, beer and wine, plus pre wrapped croissants and other breakfast items. An amazing welcome that was polished off with our towels wrapped in ribbon and flowers. We loved that it was a ground floor apartment and that it had laundry. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of 3. And, pur 6-year old loved the bunk beds!!

A clothing dry rack would have been fantastic

Stefano was so kind and picked me and my 2 young kids up from the train station. I came to the house with a very well stocked kitchen! Bed was comfortable, water pressure was great and internet worked well. I had no trouble communicating via whatsapp and they were ready to help with all my questions. When I inquired about bikes for my kids, they made 2 bikes available for them. We biked all over lucca and absolutely loved the slow pace. At times we were out until midnight biking in the close by piazza! Everything within walking distance. Washer and dryer inside the unit (dryers are rare in Italy).

I was not able to get a taxi from the apartment to the station. Walking to the station is about 15-20m.
