Serendib Villa

I spent my vacation at Serendib Villa, and it was a wonderful experience. The bedroom was very spacious with a big and comfortable bed. There are two balconies and a private bathroom with hot water, which made the stay even more comfortable. The house is very beautiful and cozy. There is also an outdoor kitchen equipped with everything you need, including a kettle, gas cooker, and other essentials. If you need, you can also rent a bike from them — they provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The villa is located in a very calm and peaceful area with lots of birds around. It is very close to the beach — only about five minutes away. The place is also very near to Ahangama and Koggala, which are very beautiful areas to visit. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. She even gave me milk rice, which was super delicious! They helped me a lot during my stay and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Our best stay in Ahangama! The room spacious and has a fridge, which many accommodations don't have. You have a balcony and another outdoor area with cooking facilities. The internet works great! One of the best things is the incredibly kind owners. A very warm-hearted family - good people. They organized a scooter for us as soon as we arrived, got us petrol and organized a transfer for our departure. They gave us lots of tips. An absolute highlight is the animals. Monkeys, squirrels, parrots, other bird species that you can watch from the balcony and enjoy the atmosphere.

Essa guest house é maravilhosa! Não tenho nenhuma reclamação. Os hosts foram desde o início muito hospitaleiros e gentis. Nós reservamos duas noites e decidimos estender por mais sete noites porque amamos muito. A limpeza e o cuidado com o quarto e todos os detalhes foram excepcionais. O apartamento conta um quarto grande, bem iluminado, com ar condicionado e ventilador que funcionam bem, cama grande e confortável, um banheiro espaçoso com um bom chuveiro e duas varandas: uma com uma pequena cozinha e outra com mesa e cadeiras para relaxar. Gostamos muito e recomendamos 100%!

I spent a night in Serendib Villa after arriving in Sri Lanka and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a newly built apartment, very spacious, with plenty of natural light surrounded by nature and with one room, an outdoor kitchen which has everything you need to cook and a very big balcony with very nice views to the jungle around the villa. The family running the accommodation are incredibly nice, they will make you feel at home and will support you with everything you may need. The room is very clean, it has zero humidity smell (which I find very rear in the South so it’s an important factor to consider) and it has a very big and comfortable bed and both an aircon and a fan. Regarding the location, the villa is located in Kabalana, in a very peaceful area, and just 5 minutes driving from Ahangama. If you don’t have a motorbike, the main road where the bus stop is, is located just 5 minutes walking from the villa and alternatively the owner is a tuc tuc driver himself, so he can take you anywhere you may need. In the area you can find several surf spots for beginner and advance surfers, several yoga and pilates studios, plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops, bars and several beaches where you can have a swim or watch the sunset from. On the other hand the Koggala lake is walking distance from the accommodation and is very worth the visit. If you are looking to do some sightseeing, Galle is only half an hour driving. I’ll be returning to the South soon for a longer stay since I work remotely, and without a doubt, I will stay at this apartment. It provides everything you need to feel at home in Sri Lanka, with a distraction-free environment and a reliable internet connection for remote work.
