very run down looking place, bathroom door wouldn't shut

Worse night ever!

Loud late night TV nxt door neighbour, sleeping on mattress in loft space not made up sheets etc,access via a loft ladder, not good if you have Mobility issues, this not mentioned also external concrete stairwell to apartment not mentioned so avoid if stairs and ladders are a problem and equipment instructions in French why are these not checked by Booking.com and left to the discretion of the vendor

Impossible to sleep there. Had to leave in the early hours and sleep in the car.

Nothing. The place is awful. I did not have a tape measure with me but I would say the bathroom is less than one metre wide.

This is a message to the managers and directors at Booking.com. You must inspect this property immediately. It is unsafe and it is fraudulent to describe it as a Two bedroom apartment. You must study Corporate manslaughter legislation and consider how you are exposed to being imprisoned if you continue to allow fraudsters and criminals to take advantage of your accommodation booking service. I have been in many booking.com rooms and hotels. They are usually very good and at reasonable prices. This accommodation is dangerous and an insult to the guests intelligence. Please go and see it for yourselves. There are fall hazards and fire hazards. The "beds" are just mattresses lying on homemade shelves above the cooker hob and kitchen sink, accessible only by a collapsible builders ladder. Please go and see it for yourselves, then work out how to prevent such an outrage being perpetrated on your trusting customers ever again. You will see that a refund and an apology are needed to all the recent victims of this horror.

This is in no way a two double bedroom apartment.

Location very close to the ferry terminal was a bonus.

The bedrooms. The apparently two double bedrooms are actually in a small loft space with no windows or ventilation. One has a headroom of about 3 feet. Accessed by a ladder. The shower room door was very difficult to move. Dreadful accommodation for our purposes but would probably suit a couple or single traveller.

It served a purpose - 1 night stop-over, immediately adjacent to the port- at low cost

Location in domestic area v good re the port - 5 mins car, 10 mins on foot. No breakfast provided but easy & cheap to do that a few minutes walk away. Or use the cooking facilities provided. Cost and the standard of the facilities roughly in line.

Better signage outside the building would have saved some time Car parking area at rear and adjacent garden area rather scruffy, off-putting. But seemed secure, anyway Bathroom corridor was definitely a breathe-in job.

Great value for money

Great location, short walk from the port if travelling with the ferry. Lots of bed space, loft is a good use of space. There's a kitchen with all the essentials. Very friendly and responsive owners.

It was slightly confusing what sheets were and weren't clean.

Great Location, very close to Brittany Ferries port.

Can understand peoples difficulties with mezzanine bedroom, but I slept on the sofa bed downstairs and it was fine.

Close to ferry

Short distance round the corner from the ferryport, booked for late-night arrival into Caen. Free parking on street outside. Clear message where to locate apartment and where to find keys. Tidy and well-equipped. Fridge, microwave, kettle. Plenty of duvets. Towels and bedlinen provided to make up the bed. Heating provided so able to warm the place but got to sleep very late.

Arriving so late in the dark, bit disorientated, found linen, made up bed on sofa as ladder and mezzanine/loft option unsuitable. Tiny loo and shower with a door that doesn't close (open 2 inches with view of kitchen) and the loo seat not attached to pan. Anyone bigger that size 12 or 10stone will find the shower-room very awkward to use. Neighbour's television audible until well after midnight. Guests will need to bring all provisions eg bring bottled water, milk, tea and coffee, and whatever breakfast items needed - shops may not be open when you arrive - although two yoghourts had been left in the fridge for guests.

Propreté moyen, pas facile d'accès à la chambre (une échelle), matelas au sol ou canapé-lit peu confortable dans le salon. Chauffage continu sans thermostat, pas de VMC dans la pièce humide. Pas de négociation pour libérer le logement à 13h30 au lieu de 11h30 le dimanche. Ne pas recommander pour personne à mobilité réduite.

Il n'y a pas deux chambres dans ce logement mais une mezzanine exiguë avec deux lits en alcove, ainsi qu'un canapé lit dans le petit salon. Pas de draps propres et seulement 2 serviettes pour 4.. il a fallu réclamer.

Lo cerca que estaba del puerto y de la facilidad para hacer el check in hasta las 11 de la noche, ya que el ferry llegaba a las 10. El hecho de que pudiera aparcar dentro del jardín. Lo rápido que contestaban a las preguntas que les hacíamos.

Por lo que costó creo que tendría que estar incluida la ropa de cama, pero no fue un gran problema

Location nulle !!

La cour de parking est bien et calme. Le linge de maison est ok, draps, serviettes, torchons à foison, de quoi fournir plusieurs locations sans avoir besoin de passer pour faire du ménage à chaque fois...

La 1ere chose qu'on voit en entrant dans l'appartement est le manque de propreté. Il est évident qu'aucun ménage n'a été fait pour notre entrée... et depuis longtemps sans doute. Le pauvre aspirateur Dyson est tellement plein, que la poussière ressort du tuyau en bas, donc, impossible de s'en servir. Le tapis est saturé de poussière, merci pour les allergiques aux acariens !! Une couche de calcaire dans la bouilloire, des traces de gras sur les portes du micro ondes, du frigo. La tablette de la salle de bain sale, des cheveux dessus, des traces sur le miroir, sur les tiroirs du lavabo et dans la douche. De la moisissure derrière la porte de douche. Un abattant WC sale et cassé mis dans un recoin de la salle de bain. Et celui en place qui ne tient pas. Le bas de la cuvette sale !! Les pieds des 4 chaises à revisser, elles bougent dans tous les sens. Bref, très très déçus, appartement à banir de Booking, il n'est pas à la hauteur d'une location, même à bas prix, c'est une honte de laisser un tel bien à la location !!!
