Crepe Farm Barns

Good value for money, in a pretty location. Comfortable beds with great quality linen, towels and decor. Dog friendly and no sign of dogs staying there. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely cafe and a handful of shops/galleries. There is a local pub but it wasnt open when we came back from days out. We just took beverages/snacks back to the room.

It was VERY hot when we arrived and the tiny air-cooler didnt really keep the room cool, thankfully we travel with an oscillating fan. A recommendation for improvement is the bedside lamps whilst stylish, dont allow room to use the kettle and make drinks on the small shelf adjacent, just a niggle, we put the lamps on the floor. There is a street dance club in the barn next door, we only saw/heard them once so not a problem but as the door was open due to the heat if anyone was looking for total peace and quiet, this might not be for you as there are also vehicles/vans renting the units behind the accommodation, but we went out exploring the area so not a problem for us.

The property was very hot and there is no easy way to ventilate it without opening the doors and the windows wide.

Gates were locked so not able to park my car by property when I had been out for the evening . Details suggested gates would have a code but were padlocked .

Excellent room and bathroom. Quite small but good for one person. Excellent breakfast at nearby estate centre - Symondsbury Kitchen. Nearby Bridport is the main attraction.

Location was difficult to find from Bridport direction. The rooms are amongst farm outbuildings and farm roads, so not much to enjoy in the immediate locality. The room was a high price, I thought.
