Stunning peaceful location, roomy house, spotlessly clean, lovely wee outdoor patio and well maintained outdoor areas. A great holiday house

I couldn't get washing machine or ignition on hob to work Oven and grill didn't heat to correct temperature. Shower in smaller bed room not working. Sink hot water tap in large en-suite not working. As we were only there for 4 days it didn't impact too much

Dishwasher not properly working. Garden chairs need replacing

The location provided easy access to all central lakes and the views from the front were unforgettable. Ample parking. Three bathrooms so plenty of options in terms of showers and baths. Large, comfortable lounge with wide sofa. Really tastefully decorated for the setting.

Slightly larger towels please. A sharper bread knife. Kitchen blinds wouldn’t come down. Apart from that, fantastic.

Lovely location, quiet and peaceful, pub just down the road.

Kitchen not clean on arrival. Mugs in the dishwasher, crumbs, sugar and sticky marks on the counter tops and litter next to the bin so clearly the floor hadn't been swept or mopped. Felt uncomfortable in the whole place after that as what else hadn't been properly sanitized? Toilet seat had water marks on and there was a crusty thing stuck on the tiles behind the sink in the en suite to the front bedroom. They couldn't send a cleaner until the next day. We were only there for two nights. We've stayed in a lot of holiday accommodation, some better than others, but I have never come across such a clearly uncleaned kitchen before. Microwave so high you'd need a ladder to get anything in or out. Notice on the table demanding that you put rubbish in bags before taking it to the main bin. Nothing like a polite request. General grubbiness throughout. Candle holder full of empty candle glasses. Cutlery that looks about 100 years old. Tatty furniture. There is no pride in this property.
