About this cottage rental

An ideal place to "get away from it all." A haven of peace on the edge of the forest, located 2 km from the village where you'll find all shops, a library, a medical center, and a pharmacy. Close to the greenway, 2 km from a fitness trail and a children's playground (park, play structures, picnic tables), a multi-sports court, and horseback riding (equestrian farm). A weekly market is held in the village every Friday morning (local produce).

15 km from Gérardmer (the pearl of the Vosges, with its lake), 25 minutes from the ski resorts and bike park of La Bresse (the largest resort in the Vosges with 30 slopes - Bol d'Air, treetop adventure course, Fantasticable) and Lac Blanc (also with numerous cross-country ski trails and marked snowshoeing and trail running paths), and mountain farm inns (local and traditional mountain fare).
5 minutes from the Confiserie des Hautes Vosges (candy factory tours available).

Just 30 minutes from the Alsace Wine Route and Alsatian villages renowned for their magnificent Christmas markets (including Kaysersberg), you'll stay in a verdant setting, a stone's throw from lovely walks, hiking trails, and mountain biking routes in the heart of nature.

45 minutes from Colmar (train station), one hour from Nancy (TGV) and Mulhouse (airport), and 1 hour 30 minutes from Strasbourg, the High Vosges will enchant you with their superb landscapes (Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park/nature reserve), extraordinary viewpoints (Honheck) – perfect for nature lovers seeking tranquility and wide open spaces, whether green or snow-covered!

Passionate and constantly amazed by the richness of our region, we will be delighted to advise you and share our experiences to ensure you have an unforgettable stay in our beautiful Vosges! We would like to inform those interested in renting our property that it is not intended for stag or hen parties (unless the property and environment are respected). This fully renovated, detached house comprises:

On the ground floor:

- A 40 m² lounge opening onto the meadows, including a bar area with a coffee maker and refrigerator, a large dining area with a large griddle and raclette grill, a 5-person hot tub, foosball table, darts, board games, and an exercise bike.

- A 13 m² bedroom with one double bed (140x190 cm), one single bed (90x190 cm), and one crib. Roller shutters are installed.

- A laundry room with a washing machine, ironing board and iron, clothes racks, and storage.

On the first floor (ground floor access):

- A glazed veranda entrance converted into a ski room with clothes racks.

- An entrance hall with a closet and coat rack.

- A 25 m² living area comprising a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a 190L refrigerator, 80L freezer, microwave, filter and Senseo coffee makers, toaster, kettle, large griddle and raclette grill, a dining area, and a lounge with two sofas, smart TV, and Wi-Fi.

- A 10 m² bedroom with one double bed (140x190 cm) and one single bed (90x190 cm).

- A 13 m² bedroom with four single beds (90x190 cm), including one bunk bed.

- An 11 m² master bedroom with one double bed (140x190 cm) and an en-suite shower room with a large shower and toilet.

- A bathroom with a large shower, towel warmer, hairdryer, and toilet.

Outside:

- Very large, unfenced grassy area overlooking the meadows.

- Furnished terrace with tables, parasols, deck chairs, benches, and a swing. Large wooden barbecue.

- Outdoor games: pétanque, trampoline, swing, slide, basketball, and ping-pong.

- Children's sleds available in winter.

- Four bicycles available for rent, including two electric ones.

- Private parking for several vehicles and a carport.

Oil-fired central heating. Wi-Fi. The house is accessible on both floors.

The price includes: end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and garbage), heating, and electricity with reasonable consumption.
If the cottage is heated by electricity, you have 15 kWh per day; any excess will be charged to the hosts on site.

Towel kit (hand towel + bath towel): €8 per person

Optional services to be paid on site and to be booked before your arrival:
