Hidden Gems in Buda

I had a pleasant stay at this property — it’s nice, comfy, and well-kept, which made my visit genuinely enjoyable. It’s best suited for a 2–3 night stay, as the shower and bathroom area can feel a bit uncomfortable for longer visits. That said, this is exactly why the place offers great value for money — you get a comfortable stay in a lovely neighbourhood at a fair price. I stayed on 14 July, and the person who was on call after 4pm was absolutely exceptional — extremely helpful and went above and beyond to resolve my concerns. Her support genuinely improved my stay. The location is wonderful if you want to experience a quieter, more authentic side of Budapest. The street sits in the elegant II District, with historic buildings, leafy streets, and a relaxed Buda atmosphere. It’s peaceful and residential yet still close to the city centre and well connected by public transport. Being someone who grow up in the V. District 30 years ago we I really appreciated seeing this calmer, more sophisticated part of the city again.

Just a heads-up for future guests: the apartment is essentially a basement unit, so it has very limited natural light. Not a major issue, but worth knowing in advance. Communication was mixed. There are two managers working in shifts, and reaching the right one during their swap can be a bit tricky, which caused some minor inconvenience, but maybe it only happened as I booked my stay on the day at 1pm ...

A truly wonderful experience! The property definitely lives up to its name as a 'hidden gem'. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very cozy. The location in Buda is fantastic—quiet and safe, yet well-connected to the main attractions of the city. The host was also very helpful and communicative throughout our stay. I would definitely book this place again.

Lokalita v centru, ale přitom velice klidné místo. Vybavení, kde byla samozřejmě varná konvice, toustovač, velká lednice s mrazákem, varná deska včetně trouby. A navíc pračka, kde byla připravena i jedna práci dávka. 👍😀 A hlavně pěkně čisto!

The apartment in terms of quality (bed, equipment, kitchen, bathroom) was good, and the location was excellent for me. Also, it was quiet during my stay.

The first evening it was very hot in the room, so I tried to lower the temp, but there was no way to do it. I reached out to the contact person, who told me they can't adjust the temperature, only the owner can, who is not available (this was around 7 pm). So I spent the evening in a 26 Celsius degrees room. Opening the windows didn't help, as the heating system was set, and maintained the temp. Later I requested a refund for that specific night, but they refused. Eventually it was Booking.com who refunded it for me. So in terms of customer service and taking responsibility, poor performance.
