Close to city center, walkable city.
Dirty, cramped, false advertisement based on the fact that you're not renting the whole apartment as mentioned in the description/title at the time, since the host modified it multiple times during our stay.
We actually found out a day before leaving for vacation that you're not renting the entire apartment, but a single room in the apartment.
It wasn't obvious from the title or the description at the time. The kitchen is shared, which can make it quite awkward, when you have to wait for another couple to finish, before you can start cooking your own food.
It's kinda like a hostel, but with separate bathrooms.
The kicker was that the actual owner came to stay for a few nights as well. Fun, fun, fun.
It's safe to say that we won't come back.
It's possible that the listing is now more transparent, since the host kept changing it during our stay, but when we booked it in January, it definitely wasn't.
We like to rent an entire apartment, not just a part of it, and if we realized it sooner, we would've attempted to back out.
My advice to the owner is to stop being so deceitful, since plenty of people are okay with such rentals, but not all.
Another important thing is that the room we stayed at was not cleaned, prior to our arrival.
There was garbage present in the bathroom bin, including bloody napkins, which was truly unacceptable.
The bathroom was dirty, including the clogged up drain, which we had to clean.
The kitchen had no heating/cooling elements like the rooms, so if it's cold outside, you will be cold in the kitchen.
There were dirty clothes in the washing machine, making it totally unusable and the place had to drying rack. So, even if you wash your clothes, you have nowhere to dry them.
We love going to Varna every year, but such rentals, can put a damper on an otherwise a lovely experience there.
