The view from the room, the storage, the balcony, and the beach access

There was nobody in the late evening to attend to us when we needed water bottles. The service could be better.

I stayed at Tahini and friends for 10 nights in April / May. Rooms are upstairs, clean and functional with nice view of the ocean and surf. Downs stairs is a kitchen and eating / working area (if you are a digital nomad). Out near the beach access is a lovely chill area for meals, drinks, or just chill by the sea, oh and turtle viewing. Highlights:- • Turtles at high tide coming to the back stairs • Food, fresh, homemade with skill and care • Staff, so friendly it feels like home • Surf, direct access to multiple beginner to intermediate surf breaks • Yoga, with the sounds of the ocean live • Yoga, with an experienced Yogi Lowlights:- • You can hear traffic noise at the street side of the property, this did not bother me. As it also means close to transport and I did not find it invasive.

I had to leave, this place feels like home.

Staff and location.

Great location on the beach, close to everything in Ahangama.

Too expensive for what it offers in comparison to the rest of Ahangama. The room is far smaller than what is pictured. Also, there are significant gaps between the wall and ceiling meaning lots of mosquitos and bugs get into the room. Also, nobody informed us that we would be charged for yoga class; would’ve thought it’d be included with the high accom price.
