Iconic Battery Cottage Signal Hill Sea&City Views

Location fantastic. Style of home was great for us (2 couples)

Needs a little more focus on maintenance.

The view from the cottage was awesome, clear view of the harbour. Walking distance to downtown with lots of restaurants and amenities close by.

The view! Gorgeous view. We didn't spend much time there but the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It's an older house, but that's part of the charm. Our dogs liked the quiet neighborhood. Downtown is a quick Uber or taxi ride away.

We didn't have any issue with parking, but it did get busy at times.

Place was clean, beds were comfy and location was ideal

The only washroom was upstairs with the two bedrooms. The stairs leading to the bathroom and bedrooms were hard to get up and down especially with luggage. If a heavy set person were to go up them I feel they might break, when my husband was going up and down it was definitely creaking quite a bit. Inconvenient layout for sure. Also once you book your stay you get a message saying to validate your information and the last step of validation is a mandatory option to pay for insurance. One option is to pay $50 and you’re covered for your stay and the second option is for them to hold $700 from your credit card and then they would only charge you admin fees of $15. Either way it is a hidden fee that you have to pay or you can’t stay there not cool.
