Underwhelming, i would not return

Upon entery we were blowen away by stunning ocean views and green scenery.

The amount of stairs you have to climb to your room (we were uninformed of this), the challenging connection to the village, there are no roads or guided walking paths. The staff is kind but very untrained, speaks bad english and inexperienced.

You are mostly locked-in the resort, accessibility to the beach and nearby village depends the tide - this information wasn’t disclosed beforehand. Trying to leave or get back to the hotel when the tide is high is dangerous, especially at night. The only restaurant is not good.

Inconvenient and outdated.

Lobby staff is kind and helpful, and its a bit less crowded than Tonsai pier.

Access only by longtail from Tonsai pier (or 2hr jungle hike). Hotel provides a cheaper option than local ferry men on the pier, but when you arrive fresh on the island you have no way of identifying the correct pilot, end up paying more than needed. The resort opened a year ago but its certainly not new, its a rebadged "Villa 360". Room interior looks like it is at least 10 years old, with some furniture damaged. TV only does Netflix or YouTube, miracast. Lighting in the room is done by scènes you can press the same switch to cycle through, you end up clicking 30 times to get the light configuration you want, which is still poorly done. The resort is build on the hillside which is a nuisance getting anywhere from lobby to the pool or restaurant. There is a buggy you can call to drive you, but then you're just waiting longer. The restaurant lacks basic staples like orange juice for breakfast. And while staff is attentive and will pull your chair and tuck your napkin, the menu is a ketchup smeared collection of paper that looks like its been used for origami practice. Signs on the resort that point to a viewpoint lead to a trash heap of the old Villa360 resort. The jungle hike to the viewpoints is unpassible (blocked by overgrown vegetation) and the other beach you can walk to is a massive trash heap as well. Save yourself a lot of ferry fees and trouble and get a place near Tonsai pier instead.

The staff are so kind, friendly and accommodating. Everything was so professional and well done. The room was incredible, the view was incredible - it made my trip to Phi Phi so memorable.

For me, I didn’t realise where it was on the island and the cost of the long tail boat 500 baht pp each time weighs up when you have activities or things to do on the main island. That was a bit disheartening, I feel like it could be an added discounted inclusion when booking the property or more obvious

An amazingly relaxing stay with an excellent staff

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at Centara in May. The view is beautiful and the facilities are excellent. The staff was incredible. They greeted us at the pier and helped us get around to the other side of the island despite the fact that I didn’t schedule anything with them ahead of time. When we got to the report, they greeted us with eucalyptus towels and fresh juice. They were extremely accommodating. The chef Umed came out at every meal to talk with us and make sure everything was good with our meal. He always made it clear to let us know if there was something else we’d like that wasn’t on the menu or at the breakfast buffet. He also offered to make fresh purées or any other food we needed for our baby. The breakfast, by the way, was the best I’ve ever had at a resort or hotel. It was absolutely phenomenal. The dining staff were equally friendly, and we made friends with most of them. The lobby staff was also incredible. Hosanna and her team were so friendly and helpful, always making time to talk with us and play with our baby when we walked through. We had such a great time getting to know them. Ruk and the recreation crew were super kind and helped me get out on a kayak one of the days. He was such a friendly guy. The GM Ning was a joy to see every day, and she does an excellent job. She was so friendly to us and even got our daughter a stuffed elephant before we left. She also gave us some free printed pictures of our family. The stay was incredible down to every detail. We will definitely be back. I don’t have everyone’s names, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone I could think of: Tarn, Non, Light, Faa, Bob, Jack, Noey, Chaba, Jasmin, Ex, Joy, and Roh. We had such a great time, thank you for such a great stay!

Nice idea, but poor execution however the staff were lovely!!

The staff were lovely and the view and food was really good! The room itself was well designed.

It never said anywhere on the booking that we would have to get a long tail boat from Ton Sai pier to the hotel which you were forced to pay for each time you wanted to use it, it was 750 BHT each time, and if was the only way to get to places, so was pretty extortionate! And they also weren’t that frequent so you couldn’t experience Phi Phi night life, and also anything you needed you could only get from the main part of Phi Phi! The room wasn’t sealed properly via the windows, doors, and any open crevice, so got all kinds of bugs and reptiles inside, spiders, lizards, cockroaches etc. the poor staff had to repeatedly come to our rescue at all hours of the evening, and also because of the poor sealing, the AC did not work well as all the cool air just escaped, and this also meant you could hear every animal at all hours of the night. It was really hard to get anywhere without using the buggy as it was all very steep and uphill, and the pool was very underwhelming and should have been their own private beach instead. The elevator only gets you so far, you still have to climb a billion stairs to get to most places, and that was hard in the heat. They didn’t really offer any activities on site, so even if you didn’t venture to the other side of Phi Phi where everything is, you wouldn’t have anything to do there anyway…

Calm place to stay on Phi Phi far away from all the hustle and bustle. Very helpful staff. You will get a separate villa with a stunning view. Buggy service to get to the pool/sea/reception/gym. Great food at the restaurant. Pool with bar, own artificial beach with sand. Kayak or sub board are available till 5pm.

It will cost you 1500 THB (2 person) on long tail boat to get to the hotel from the harbour and it is the cheapest option.

Schöne Abgeschiedene Lage, Restaurant gar nicht zu empfehlen

Grußes Zimmer mit schönem Blick ( allerdings weit oben, man muss schon steil rauf um von dem Pool/restaurant / Lobby dorthin zu kommen). Man kann sich auch fahren lassen, aber ich habe es als mein daily workout gesehen 😅

Man kommt in die Unterkunft ausschließlich mit einem Boot , dafür werden pro Streck 1400“ baht fällig. Wir wurde darüber nicht vorab informiert, auf unsere Bitte eine Abholung am Tonsai Pier zu organisieren gab es keine Antwort. Bei Flut muss man im Hotel essen und das Essen ist überteuert und sehr schlecht! Nicht mal das Thai Curry hat geschmeckt , kriegt man überall besser. Aber bei Flut hat man auch nicht die Möglichkeit ins nahe Dorf zu laufen, sondern ist komplett auf das Hôtel Restaurant angewiesen, wir haben uns richtig geärgert. Daneben wurde vergessen unser Trip zur Maya-Bay zu buchen - wurde dann aber mit 1 h Verspätung gelöst. Einzige Pool Bar schließt um 17:00 Uhr. Keine Möglichkeit am Abend im Hotel noch außerhalb des Restaurants an Nahrung oder Getränke zu kommen.

Très bel hôtel avec un personnel extrêmement sympathique et arrangeant. Ils ont accepté de nous changer de chambre à notre demande, ce que nous avons vraiment apprécié. Le fait de pouvoir se déplacer en buggy dans le resort est un vrai plus. Les équipements sont excellents : superbe vue depuis la salle de sport, les chambres et les restaurants, sans oublier les deux piscines qui sont magnifiques.

Petit bémol à noter : l’accès. Il faut prévoir 1400 baht si l’on souhaite que l’hôtel organise le transfert depuis Tonsai Pier.

Schönes Hotel für Ko Phi Phi, wo man sich von den vielen Touristen erholen kann.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Man läuft leider etwas viel Treppen, der Swimmingpool ist nicht sehr schön, etwas viel Beton und leider meistens im Schatten. Im Meer konnten wir leider während vier Tagen nie Schwimmen, weil das Wasser bei Ebbe bis weit draussen sehr tief ist. Auch kann man vom Hotel aus kaum Spazieren. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und vielseitig, schön wenn man draussen essen kann. Im Terrassenrestaurant oben war das Nachtessen auch sehr gut und mit toller Aussicht.

Dass man im Meer nicht besser Schwimmen kann und Hotel mit Pool meistens im Schatten liegt.

L’hôtel indiquait proposer des navettes en bateau vers le port principal de Phi Phi (3 fois par jour), mais celles-ci n’étaient finalement plus disponibles pendant notre séjour. L’établissement est assez isolé, et cette information n’est pas vraiment mise en avant lors de la réservation sur Booking. Au final, on se sent un peu lésés : on paye très cher principalement pour la vue, tout en se retrouvant “coincés” sur place et pratiquement obligés de passer par leurs bateaux (facturés à part) pour se déplacer. Heureusement, nous avons trouvé des prestataires locaux juste à côté, nettement plus raisonnables et arrangeants. Concernant la restauration, je trouve que le standing “4 étoiles” est clairement surévalué. Nous n’avons pas réservé d’excursions via l’hôtel, les tarifs étant franchement excessifs par rapport à ce que proposent les locaux dans le “village” voisin. Nous avons profité de la marée basse pour rejoindre Nui Beach, puis accéder à un petit centre où l’on peut manger de bons repas à des prix corrects, se faire masser, et même atteindre une magnifique plage en traversant la jungle quelques minutes. Côté confort, un point très négatif : la climatisation est extrêmement bruyante, au point de gêner le sommeil. Enfin, l’accueil du personnel n’était pas particulièrement chaleureux, à l’exception de deux jeunes garçons au restaurant qui, eux, ont été vraiment gentils et attentionnés. Les échanges avec la réception via l’application ont aussi été assez chaotiques (réponses tardives, manque de clarté), ce qui n’aide pas quand on est dans un hôtel isolé. Je suis convaincu que Centara a d’autres hôtels de bien meilleure qualité, mais celui-ci, c’est non. Au final, le seul vrai point fort de l’hôtel reste la chambre : je ne le recommande pas, les prix sont abusifs pour la prestation globale.

Die Aussicht ist ein Traum, es ist nur wenig los und die Zimmer sind geräumig und schön. Beim Frühstück gibt es eine große Auswahl, es ist für jeden was dabei. Es gibt Hotelwägen, die für die Hotelwege genutzt werden.

Die Anreise zum Hotel war bereits problematisch. Am Pier angekommen muss man mit einem überteuerten Boot (1.500 Baht) zum Hotel fahren. Es gibt keinen Alternativweg zum Hotel. Da das Hotel keinen Steg hat, mussten wir mit dem Gepäck durch das Wasser gehen. Wenn der Wellengang zu stark ist, kann das Hotel nicht angefahren werden. Für die Abreise wollten wir ein Speedboot buchen. Da das Speedboot bereits ausgebucht war und es nicht sicher war, ob ein anderes Boot an dem Tag fahren kann, mussten wir umständlich in das Dorf und von dort zu einem anderen Steg. Darum haben wir uns selbst kümmern müssen. Vom Hotel wurde uns lediglich mitgeteilt, dass das Speedboot ausgebucht ist. Wie wir wieder von der Insel kommen, hat im Hotel niemanden interessiert. Wir können Mr. Phu von Andaman als Reisemanager empfehlen (Shop im Dorf).

Personalen har inte koll på helheten. Den ena vet inte vad de andra gör. När vi säger att strandbaren är stängd och frågar när den öppnar säger front Desk att den redan är öppen. Kul med en app där man kan beställa buggies, men de hr för få eller för liten personal så man får vänta länge på transport! Annars, ert super trevligt hotell!

Personel był opryskliwy Transfer łodzią aby wogóle dostać się do hotelu lub z niego kosztował 50 euro w jedną stronę czyli najdrożej jak to było możliwe ponieważ biorąc taxi boat na własną rękę było to o 20 euro tańsze Dodatkowo rozkład łodzi który wysyła hotel nie istnieje przez to oszustwo na dwie noce wykupione w tym hotelu jedną musieliśmy odpuścić aby móc zrealizować wycieczkę z portu ponieważ hotel nie gwarantował nam łodzi na czas a jednak będąc w Tajlandii chcieliśmy odwiedzić Maya bay. Na Łódź z hotelu w porcie pisząc z obsługą czekaliśmy 3 godziny aż w końcu załatwiliśmy transport samodzielnie. Przestrzegam wszystkich przed tym hotelem jeżeli macie zaplanowany czas w Tajlandii ponieważ lokalizacja tego miejsca to pułapka. Dodatkowo jeżeli udacie się plaża na spacer do wioseczki czyli jedynego miejsca które tam można zwiedzić i przyjdzie przypływ to już nie wrócicie ponieważ plaża znika i jest głęboko. Pokój i jego czystość też pozostawiał wiele do życzenia brudne ściany brudne szyby, naloty pleśni obecne na silikonach prysznica. Zapomniałam o spadających głazach na ścieżki w hotelu które mogą kogoś poważnie uszkodzić jak nie zabić !!!!! Dołączam zdjęcie !!

Man muss sagen dass wir Dauerregen hatten: Die Lage des Hotels ist so gelegen, dass die Ankunft dorthin nur mit einem Boot möglich ist, oder bei Low Tide über den Strand. Wir wollten auch Zeit außerhalb der Anlage verbringen und hatten den Zeitraum des low tides verpasst und mussten im dunkeln durch das Wasser zum Hotel zu gelangen. Das war total gruselig auch durch das Unwetter. Allein aus diesem Grund würde ich das Hotel nicht erneut besuchen. Aber wenn man sich an den Zeitplan der Tide hält, kann man natürlich sowas vermeiden.

Trop cher pour ce que l’hôtel propose

Nous avons séjourné dans votre établissement et nous sommes cependant très déçus au tarif auquel nous avons payé notre séjour nous nous attendions à une qualité équivalente au tarif appliqué. De plus à notre grande surprise l’hôtel n’étant accessible uniquement en bateau il aurait été correct de mettre en place une navette à disposition des clients gratuitement et non en supplément à des horaires imposés. 550 BTH par personne pour un trajet de 15 min (aux horaires imposés) sinon une facturation de 1800 BTH pour des horaires précises (ce qui revient à presque 50€ autant qu’un trajet parisien en heure de pointe, n’est ce pas exagéré ?). Une légère impression d’avoir été arnaqué et prise en « otage » car si nous voulons nous déplacer ou faire une activité à des horaires précises l’unique moyen de sortir de l’hôtel et de payer cette somme.. lorsque nous demandons à l’hôtel une justification la seule réponse apportée est : « c’est les prix de l’hôtel » réponse qui à mon sens dans un hôtel de « luxe » ne doit pas arriver. L’hôtel est sympa certes mais de loin pas à la hauteur du tarif appliqué, payer pour de la qualité aucun souci, payer pour avoir la sensation de se faire arnaquer ne me convient absolument pas. En toute état de cause je ne recommande pas.
