The resort is big and with a nice territory, very green , very well taken care of.
Free bycicle, free tennis , gym amazing. Breakfast is superb.
Slow check in time. We visited Saii 2 times in the last 2 years, both times check-in process was very slow.

Beautiful location and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pools and reception areas beautiful
For the price it would have been reasonable to expect a complimentary transfer from the main pier

The location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent quality of food
Some parts of room decor need updating. The room fridge was rusty and the shower needs a facelift . We thought the buffet at API and the New Year’s Eve party were expensive for the experience

The facilities at the resort were great; the staff was very friendly and you could see how hard they work at the hotel; very good and spacious rooms; the village behind was lively and fun; great spot for island hopping; prices at the hotel are good considering the location and quality.
Complex checking process due to inflexibility on policies (payment was already done, but the bank changed the card during that period and we had to pay again, now waiting for the refund of the original payment) ; Breakfast and dinner buffet were ok, kind of average for a 5 stars resort. Same for the NYE gala, that was overpriced considering the food offer. Transfer from the hotel to the marina wasn’t exclusive for hotel guests, and be aware that they will take you back to a different marina without communicating before hand.

It was close to a small Thai village
The property has become a bit old and with the centra grand moving next door, saii phi phi has lost much of the privacy and seclusion they once had

The rooms were amazing and very clean
Due to the extreme bad weather there was literally nothing to do at the resort, it's a sun holiday & if its raining (monsoon) there is absolutely nothing to do!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is very charming, perfectly located on a quiet beach with a stunning view. The hotel is very spacious, clean, and extremely well maintained.
The food was very good, with a nice variety, and the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling, they really make you feel welcome.
A special mention for the spa: it was an amazing experience, very relaxing and well executed.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily come back.
Nothing.

Nothing particulary, espeocally for the $750/night cost, it was egregiously overpriced.
We stayed at The Sai in Phi Phi, which is marketed and priced as a five-star resort, but our experience did not align with that standard. The beach area was covered with garbage and broken bottles, and the resort’s “beach” itself was largely rocky rather than soft sand. At the pool bar, staff were unable to prepare several drinks listed on their own menu, and multiple beer options were unavailable.
As a five-star property, basic service expectations were also not met. We were required to use the same beach towels for the duration of our stay, and there were no towels available at the pool. Additionally, the television in our room did not work, requiring a maintenance visit. We also did not have hot water on our first day. We reported the issue before leaving for a boating excursion, but upon returning later that afternoon, the problem remained unresolved. Maintenance eventually came, and we had to remain in the room for approximately 30 minutes while the issue was addressed.
The cost of this resort is comparable to other true five-star properties, but the experience did not reflect that level of quality or service. We travel frequently and, based on our stay, would rate this property closer to a two-star resort at best. Our friends, who stayed in a separate suite, experienced the same issues and additional problems. We do not often leave reviews, but felt it was important to provide an accurate account so future guests can better align expectations with what is actually offered.

It was quiet, well maintained, secluded. Netflix on tv, cause when it was raining one day, we had something to easily watch.
It could be a tad cheaper.

We loved the villas, the staff was very nice, they offer a lot of tours that are really good. Everything was great!
Food quality was average
4.0 / 10.0
It is in a great location - the better side of phi phi island and near a great small city center. Also, housekeeping came twice a day to our room and made sure the rooms were clean.
Some individual staff members were kind.
Pretty much everything… it was DEFINITELY not worth the money we paid..
1) The staff was ok, but not super friendly, not engaging with guests and not at all what we have been seeing around all other parts of Thailand.
2) Breakfast was alright but scrambled eggs etc were cold and there were a lot of flies around the food and at the tables. They didn’t have a clear system for distributing tables - we had multiple days where we received a table, went to get food and then a different couple was sat at our table.
3) It’s hard to reach the resort and the trip there is hit or miss - on the way in, we took ages and were wet to the hip from wading through the ocean from the resort longtail boat to a tractor that then drove us to a van that then took us to the hotel. The way back out was great via resort speed boat.
4) The “gym” is tiiiiiiiny and outdated.
5) Our room could use a renovation. For one, when it rained, it rained into the room (at front door, we didn’t get wet on the bed or anything).
6) The pool had multiple tiles on the floor missing.
7) The cushions on our beach chairs were moldy.
It’s not that we had a bad time, but for the money we paid, we definitely expected something different.

We stayed here in last week of Oct 25. It is a huge and nicely maintained property. Rooms are quite spacious and luxurious. Staff is friendly. Location is for those who want peace, away from the busier tonsai pier. We are vegetarians, food was excellent. Nice secluded beach.
It takes 25 mins from tonsai pier. We took local longtail boats from/ to the pier. Operators charge u different rates at different time of the day. We paid 1200 bahts for drop to resort, 1000 for drop to pier and 1500 for evening drop to resort. Pls avoid taking a boat in the evening as it was pitch dark and very scary, you are at the mercy of just one person controlling the boat. We had to take a long walk in the water in the dark as it was low tide. So staying here comes at a cost.
For checking out, took resort boat for phuket, slightly expensive but worth the money to avoid all the hassles. Overall, highly recommended.
Connectivity from tonsai pier

This was the luxury resort of our dreams. Absolutely stunning location and the best view we have ever had from our room. Prisitne beach away from the crowds. The staff was kind, accomodating, and attentive. It was pure ocean/beach bliss from the time we checked in until we had to check out.

Very pretty Place on a beautiful Island. Good Service, Nice Bungalows. Very helpfull stuff
Technical Problems appeared, doorbell was ringing very early for 30 min. and TV started some times in the night. Phi?

The hotel beach and pools were beutiful with great facilities, the trip called island discovery was great and well orginized
The hotel breakfast was good and the service was great.
The room was a little bit dissapointing (expected for more), the overall gardening of the hotel grounds were not good enough, and the hotel grounds at night were very dark and not properly lit what made walking at night not plesent at all

Ideally a nice beach
No swim area and many boats
Understaffed and not very good service
Overpriced villas compared to value
SPA closed, small gym
Not very welcoming receptionists

Our room was front line and it was very nice.
We enjoyed eating in the little behind the resort.
Location is nice
Pool area nice
Pillows on the bed were floppy and uncomfortable.
Noisy at night when the dredger starts to dig out the boat channel.
For the price you pay there should be more tea/coffee facilities in the room.
Food in resort very expensive.

Nothing! Our room had brown water out of the tap and shower. Terrible smell out of the toilet. We booked the villa next to the lazy pool. We couldn’t use the pool at all because they were cleaning it with heavy chemicals and second day whole day rain.
They do not take any responsibility for the safety of their guests. They allowed us, together with our daughter, to take a boat to Tonsai Pier, which turned into a terrible and traumatic experience. We got stuck in very heavy weather and a storm. They let us take a long-tail boat, which was extremely dangerous. We landed in huge waves, and water came inside the boat.
After we finally arrived at Tonsai Pier, we tried to contact the resort by landline and WhatsApp, but there was no answer. Our passports were left in the resort, and we were afraid to go back. They showed no concern. The only response we received was: “Sorry, we cannot help, you need to stay the night there.”
I explained clearly that no hotel would accept us without passports, and besides, we had paid a lot of money to stay at the resort. I asked them to arrange an emergency boat to pick us up, but they refused. They kept telling us to “just give it a try and come back,” completely ignoring the fact that we were traveling with a child. They refused to help.
I would recommend no one to stay here. They care only about money, not about the safety or well-being of their guests. It was not worth the money at all. Breakfast was also terrible!

The location is excellent, with a private shore and beach offering an incredible view. To reach the active area (Ton Sai), you need to take another boat, which makes the private beach quieter and more relaxing. The resort itself is very nice and comfortable, with amazing staff and stunning views. The restaurant offers a variety of options for breakfast and dinner. Although it’s not the most tasty, there are no alternative dining options available.
The transfer from the hotel to Ton Sai isn’t free and operates only at limited times. The rooms are far less comfortable compared to the outdoor facilities. Our room had a bad odor, and when we requested a different one, none were available. The bed was uncomfortable, and during the night we woke up several times because the wind kept rattling the doors and windows, making it sound like someone was knocking. Restaurant and bar (in the resort, nothing outside reachable by foot) closes at 22:30. For a 5 star resort we expected much more attention to these details.

Perfect top notch resort. Welcoming and responsive staff, large clean - well maintained rooms (not the standard in Thailand), great private beach, nice swimming pools. The perfect place for relaxation.
The resort is remote and can only be accessed by boat so when staying there, we are captive customers. Everything is more expensive than outside (yet, quite affordable for a western). Getting in / out is a bit cumbersome as it involves a boat ride.

The staff are so friendly and the location is incredible. Being on the quieter side of the Phi Phi Islands you got to enjoy the beauty without the hustle and bustle. The food was fantastic, the amenities were great and the accommodation itself was amazing. The staff are incredibly attentive. Would highly recommend.
The wifi wasn't the strongest in our villa and cut out at times, but you get that being on an island.

The location
Old rooms, does not feel clean, full with worms and bugs coming in from the roof, which is covered only with wood beams. Very expensive for what we got. Food overpriced. Large breakfast, but very simple. Also crowded although we were not in the high season. Not enough sun beds for the guests

What an experience. From the initial transfer by speedboat and welcome on the beach it was truly magical. A great location, brilliant accommodation and extremely friendly and helpful staff set in paradise. What is not to love.
Can't think of anything.

Beautiful location. Staff friendly and helpful. Great little village just outside the resort, has everything you need (just make sure you take cash out before you get to the resort)
Unless you are diving or taking advantage of activities around the island, you wouldn’t need more than a couple of days to explore here. We travelled with a young child, would like to go back when older to really explore more.

I loved the view and private pool. The villa was full of beautiful windows overlooking the sea.
I also thought the staff were wonderful and friendly people.
I wasn’t impressed with the restaurant food and the available choices . The breakfast however was very nice. In all fairness I only tried a couple different dishes.
