About this cottage rental
Welcome to the Golden Girls cottage! Our home is located in Wilmington's historic mansion district and offers convenient, modern amenities in one of Wilmington's most charming neighborhoods. Located within walking distance of the popular Cargo District as well as the Soda-pop district, there are endless options for fun. Restaurants, bars, and shops are plentiful. Wilmington is a very inclusive community, and we are LGBTQ+ owned and friendly!
At the Golden Girls Cottage, you will get all the charm this historic neighborhood has to offer while enjoying the comfortable and well-appointed space that we have prepared for you! Each room in our cottage has been thoughtfully curated to provide a fun, vintage inspired stay.
While we do love the fun, GG inspired touches, the cottage is a quiet, relaxing space for anyone and any occasion. Come on, come all!
*Although located on the Smith-Willoughby estate, this is a stand-alone home with complete privacy.*
Living Space
We have enjoyed making this space as comfortable and inviting as possible, including large sofa and smart TV in the living room, a fully stocked kitchen with anything you could ever need, and a very unique aesthetic in the entire property.
Bed and Bath
After a long day of exploring our beautiful city, relax and unwind in the plush queen-sized bed and 1,000 thread count sheets. The bedroom also offers a smart TV with streaming services at your disposal. Bathroom features a walk-in tiled shower (handicap accessible) with on-demand hot water for you who enjoy those long showers.
Outdoor Space
The cottage features a cozy and private fenced patio with comfortable seating options and space for your furry friends (upon approval).
Extras
-Streaming services: Netflix, HULU, Prime Video, and cable.
-Fast, reliable WIFI for any remote workers enjoying our space.
-Coffee and espresso machines in the kitchen, stocked with our favorite coffees.
-EV charger upon request (Tesla, level 1)

Good location with market and restaurant nearby. The Keurig coffee maker is so old that it does not take k-cups. Otherwise, a great B&B I would use again.

Adorable cottage. Immaculate. Wilmington is lovely. Weather was not. Had to leave early due to nor'easter headed up the coast. All in all had a lovely time.

This place is Great!! Neat and tidy. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Walking distance to a coffee shop. Lovely historic neighborhood. Definitely recommend.
