Melissa and her staff is very friendly and always there te help. It is so peaceful on the farm and the outside area is perfect for a braai and just relaxing.
We werent aware you cant really drink the water since there is quite a lot of chlorine in the water. So I would suggest yiu bring your own fresh water. Besides that it is an amazing place to stay at.

Spacious two-bedroom property with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely, quiet atmosphere. The pool area is great, with lots of open grass space. Honestly, if it weren't for the electricity issues, you could easily spend a few days here just relaxing. The host was friendly and helpful throughout.
Location is a real highlight. Close to two or three restaurants and a Spar close-by that stocks most day-to-day essentials. About a 10-minute drive to the Addo main park entrance, which makes it a solid base for exploring the area.
Electricity was a problem on two nights of our stay. The first evening it was out for most of the afternoon through to late evening, which meant no water either as the pump is electricity-dependent. We had to eat out both nights because of this (which was not planned for). The second night the power went out again around dinner time, same result.
To be fair, the first outage was storm-related, but in South Africa, a self-catering guest house really needs some form of backup. Even a small generator or gas cartridges for cooking would make a meaningful difference for guests, because at this property if the power is out, it also means there is no water.
One important note that should be on the listing: do not take the shorter route from PE airport. It passes through a very unsafe area. Take the N2 and N10 via Paterson instead. The host should flag this upfront, either in the listing or in the pre-arrival communication.

Modern look and private. Very well equipped.
The water is really murky.
There is only one mirror in the entire apartment.
The oven was very dirty.
The outside lights are kept on at night and lights up the bedrooms.
