I honestly wasn’t expecting too much, but this hotel was a fantastic find. We stayed here while we went to see Beetlejuice, and the location couldn’t have been better. It was literally just a couple of minutes’ walk from the theatre—so close that during the interval, when the theatre toilets were packed, we simply walked back to the hotel to use ours! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. We were greeted by a really friendly and helpful member of staff who made us feel so welcome. The room itself was quirky, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for our stay. It had loads of character and was a lovely place to relax after the show. If we ever come back to this theatre again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. The location, the staff and the overall experience were absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!

Honestly, nothing at all. I couldn’t fault it. Even the little touches made a difference, like having a small bottle of fresh milk for tea and coffee instead of the usual UHT pots. The décor was quirky, stylish and full of character, and everything just felt welcoming and well thought out. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I genuinely wouldn’t change a thing. I think reviews like this are especially helpful because they explain why you enjoyed the stay, not just that you did.

Pricey London

Lovely room with great decor. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is bang in the heart of theatre land.

We were woken at 6 am by the pub changing its barrels. This went on for most of an hour. We were offered an hour late check-out, but this definitely spoiled our enjoyment of the stay. The room was provided with earplugs, but the vibrations ran through the whole building.
