Victoria's Home Lecce

The apartment was spotlessly clean with a very well equipped kitchen if you fancy cooking, (which we didn't). The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage space for clothes, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had both a rain shower and a hand held shower, the shower cubicle was not cramped and there was a hairdryer in each bedroom. There were 2 balconies, one from the living room which overlooked the street and the other from one of the bedrooms which overlooked the back of the buildings so not a pretty view. The apartment is about a 10 - 15 minute walk into the Centro Storico and you pass a supermarket on the way so very convenient.

The only downside was the fact that the apartment is on the 6th floor and the elevator only went as far as the 4th. So we had to carry our suitcases up and down 40 steps. To be fair, Stefania, who welcomed us, was very helpful with our suitcases when we arrived. But as we were 3 ladies between 77 and 82, we deliberately chose the apartment because it had an elevator. I feel that if the elevator isn't working properly, future guests should be made aware of the number of steps they're going to have to climb, perhaps 4 times a day. I would like to make a suggestion that perhaps some folding chairs be available to use on the balcony. We used the dining room chairs but they were heavy to carry in and out.

Stephanie was always helpful and available. It could be spacious but they locked the third bedroom and bathroom because we were 2. Couples

The elevator only worked to the 4 floor and we had to walk 4 flights to the 6th floor. Hard with luggage. We had no working air conditioning in the main room to eat which was uncomfortable. Lastly the large beautiful deck was unuseable since There is no furniture at all outside to sit on. The dish washer needs some attention it puts rust on the dishes.
