The apt is situated overlooking the Piazza, which just happened to have an ancient Roman amphitheater in the middle of it! The apartment is actually one of Mussolini’s palaces. Our host Nico was fantastic. He left a plate of local pastries for us and took us to the basement of a building (AD 1567) to show us the spa and rooms under it. He also gave us restaurant recommendations.

Location amazing , balcony had uninterrupted views of the piazza sant’oronzo . Nico the host was excellent with prompt communication to any questions posed , excellent wine recommendations 😀

The attempt of making it a modern appartement is is admirable however too many corners were cut. Don’t think of using the kitchen
