Great location, lovely cottage, great flexibility from Georgina on exit time, lovely cottage

Very minor points - The bunk bed wasn’t suitable for an older adult … would be useful to flag this. Some instructions need updating - HDMI2 for TV, etc … recycling instructions a bit unclear

It was a very comfortable and well presented cottage, the welcome pack the owner left for us was much appreciated.

Lovely location, quaint cottage and well equipped kitchen. The house was clean and cosy although the bunk bed was very flimsy.

There were a number of safety issues; the bunk bed was very wobbly and one daughter had to pull out a mattress and sleep on the floor. Our other daughter had to sleep on the sofa, then getting a poor night sleep as there were only net curtains in the sitting room. We wouldn't recommend this house to guests with young children or elderly as the staircase and landing arrangement is quite dangerous and battery-powered nightlights fitted at the top to help with this didn't work and not one of the three bulbs in the ceiling light above it worked. There was also a distinct shortage of hot water; after washing up there was nothing really left for a shower or bath even for one person. We weren't impressed at the explanatory note in the guide book on the kitchen table about the lack of water and small boiler as it's too late on arrival to realise this cottage is unsuitable - guests should have this information upfront on the Booking.com listing prior to booking and paying. Alternatively, fit a bigger boiler if the house is being advertised a suitable for four guests.
