Dove Cottage

The cottage was lovely and cosy, spotless wirh everything you could possibly need . The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom/shower was very spacious. The cottage was perfectly situated just round the corner to the centre of knaresborough, bus and train station. We would definately recommend it and would love to visit again.

Could not get into property using key code given, after 20 mins trying , called the emergency number only to be told , the key code has been changed and we'd not been informed, not a good start. Otherwise all was good only thing to point out that handrail on staircase is loose towards to top end .

Location fantastic, it met our criteria for our weekend. Dove cottage had everything we needed for our short stay, it was warm and cozy

It was warm, and comfortable nights sleeping.

Parking was a nightmare, over the road it was like parking on a building site. It was suggested you Gould park down the street but there were only 4 spaces and that was taken up by locals, it was also suggested to place a disk in your car that was provided for a 2 hour free parking in the town but they didn’t leave any, it would have been better that the owners had legal parking in the street behind the house. The two seater sofa wasn’t comfortable at all it was only good for short spells of sitting. The bathroom didn’t have any shelving to place toiletries etc near the wash basin, the shower didn’t have anywhere to put your shampoos conditioners and shower soaps, and it would have been good to have a window blind on the roof light as street lighting and the morning sun light came in through the window.
