Hideaway Knaresborough

Fabulous views and relaxing.

The bed was a standard size bed. I prefer a king. But that's just me. Also I did feel like it could do with a new mattress.

The apartment is lovely, spotlessly clean, has everything you need & the location & views are stunning. We had a great couple of days. Parking spot right next door. Lovely cafe below the Black Mulberry which was very welcoming & gave a 50% discount (yes, 50%) on everything for staying in the Hideaway.

Only a small issue & a personal one.....but the bed wasn't the most comfortable.

This property is a delight. The hosts also own the Black Mulberry cafe below. Everyone in the cafe is on hand to help and so friendly. We got 50% off food in the cafe and it was lovely. You can exit through the left steps out the back gate to avoid going through the cafe. The host Alex was so helpful, down to earth and friendly. You can tell they have put their heart into the property and care about your experience. The apartment is immaculate and has everything you need. The view and location speaks for itself: amazing. Super busy waterfront by day, but very quiet at night. 5-10 minutes walk to the town centre with plentiful shops and bars etc. So much to choose from. Check out the information book for great recommendations. Felt very safe walking home after a night out. A great experience and highly recommended

I would note that it’s a steep hill walk into the centre. As it’s very busy and narrow road into the waterfront, getting in and parking can be slow process through pedestrians. Neither of these things affected us negatively; just to be aware of if you are an anxious driver or have mobility issues We loved our stay ♥️
