Our suite in Via Mercanti was amazing. So spacious and perfectly located for exploring Salerno. Right in the middle of things but set back in a courtyard that makes it surprisingly tranquil. Comfortable, furnished really well and with everything you could need, I really cannot fault this lovely apartment.
The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer!

Tout était très bien. L’appartement est grand et il est très bien équipé. Lave linge top avec produits fournis! L’accueil par une personne très sympathique. Emplacement idéal pour visiter Salerne.
Un peu de bruit par la fenêtre le soir.

The room was okay. The location is good. There is a washer and you have to line dry the clothes. The loft has a queen bed and the lower level has a sofa bed. There is another living room with a sofa and TV. There is A/C in the unit. The drain was clogged, but the host find a repairman and fixed it promptly.
The beds were very uncomfortable. There is no knife you can use for cooking, only steak knife is available. The A/C was barely sufficient for the place. The cook pans and pots are old and the teflon coating were peeling off, so we didn't use it. There was not a toaster for bread. The host did not speak English, so we had to use Google Translate (maybe it is our fault to now know Italian...).
