Waroeng Senaru Cottages

Nice cottages nearby the famous waterfalls. Rest of the street is quiet with a few restaurants. Stay for 2 days is enough

Lovely location with comfortable rooms that flank a nice garden; each room has a nice sitting space in front for downtime or watching the sun set. Really enjoyed our stay in Senaru. Wareong Senaru cottage is just a short walk from the recommended waterfalls and traditional village, and is surrounded by several similar places which provide plenty of options for eating. The accommodation was very picturesque and also very relaxing. We were very pleased to have selected it. Most people visit the area to commence the climb of Mount Rinjani; we didn't, we just wanted to get a good flavour of the area, which we did and really enjoyed.

There is such a focus on Mount Rinjani - which is currently partly closed at the moment due to apparently four recent falls - that many operators fail to promote the discovery of the surrounding environment and the rest of the region. The waterfalls are well advertised, but there is so much more to see in the region. We thought it was lovely.

Good location friendly staff

It feels freshly opened and not all things are in place yet.

Perfect place to base yourself for exploring waterfalls and Rinjani ( in the open season).
