Vanilla Cottage Tetebatu

Hir and his family are so lovely and friendly, and nothing is ever a problem. They are also exceptional cooks and kept us well fed with yummy breakfast (you must try Hir's omelettes, they are filled with vegetables and very addictive!) and we were able to cook with the family one night too. Tetebatu is beautiful, and if you stay with Hir you MUST do the rice paddy waterfall and monkey Forest loop tour with him, you will learn and experience so much, and its also heaps of fun hanging out with Hir.and meeting the locals.

The owner Hir & his family do everything to make your stay memorable. Place is so good that we booked an extra (3rd) night. Great breakfast pancakes. Volcano view from the roof. Shower is better than in most 5* hotels. Cooking class with delicious Tilapia & jackfruit curry. We went on a village trip with Hir and the kids loved it. Black monkey forest is within walking distance, awesome to see these special monkeys from up close. Also Tetebatu waterfall easy to reach. Hir can guide you to both. Thank you Hir for having us, we will remember this!

Big thanks to Hirr and his family for our wonderfull time in Tetebatu. Hirr and his brother took us on a tour for 2 days through the ricefields, nature and the traditional villages around Tetebatu. We really enjoyed the tours and our stay. The homestay is a little green paradise and Hirr is super hospitable, taking care of all your needs while youre there! Terima kasih and till next time 🙏❤️
