We had a wonderful stay and found the house to be very comfortable. There are plenty of beds and enough space for a larger group, making it easy for everyone to choose a comfortable place to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped, with a great stove and oven, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with plenty of towels. A special thank you to the host for providing a washing machine, laundry detergent, and everything needed to do laundry after a long day of hiking. This is a rare and very thoughtful touch that we truly appreciated. The hosts were always nearby and available if we needed anything. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning. The canyon itself is beautiful, and there's even a nice hiking trail starting nearby, which is perfect for days when you don't want to drive far into the mountains.

The main drawback for us was the location. While the surroundings are beautiful, the house is about a 45-minute drive from Žabljak, which adds quite a bit of travel time if you're planning to hike in Durmitor every day. It's also worth knowing that there are no grocery shops in Kozarica, and the only local restaurant operates on a reservation basis in the evenings, so it's important to bring all the food and supplies you'll need. Inside the house, a few small improvements would make the stay even more comfortable. It would be nice to have bedside lamps or other soft lighting in the bedrooms instead of only ceiling lights. A wardrobe or clothes rack would also be useful, as there is nowhere to hang clothes. Finally, the Wi-Fi connection was extremely slow and unreliable, making it difficult even for basic internet use.

One of the best places to spend time with nature in the canyon. Nevidio canyon near by is a bonus.
