La Causeuse

This is a darling property set in an out of the way corner of Thonon les Bains. The area is very safe, quirky and very quiet. The property has two split duct air conditioners that work amazingly. The back patio was a nice place to sit and to dry out clothes (there is a clothes dryer but it wasn’t necessary. Everything worked properly and some cooking basics (and a bottle of wine!) were provided.

Tiny things but we missed having an oven and didn’t love the kitchen chairs. (Folding vintage-looking metal chairs)

Gîte bien situé au calme avec un petit jardin privatif, parfait pour manger en terrasse. Très propre, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. Cuisine très fonctionnelle, coin salon avec TV grand écran, chambre parentale confortable avec mention spéciale pour la SDB moderne, spacieuse et lumineuse. Pour les amateurs de marche, tout peut se faire facilement à pied. Commerces, plage, château de Ripaille, Thonon. Séjour parfait, merci encore à la propriétaire pour son attention et sa gentillesse.

Gîte très fonctionnel, confortable et propre, propriétaire très sympathique et à l'écoute, commerce à proximité, surtout une boucherie charcuterie à 200 mètres que je recommande.

Parkplatz mit automatischem Schiebetor. Verwunschener Garten zur eigenen Nutzung direkt hinter dem Häuschen. Sehr gemütlich! Nett und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit Küchenzeile, Sofa-Ecke, Großfernseher, außerdem ein Schlafzimmer und ein modernes Bad mit Dusche und zwei Waschbecken. Ein gesondertes WC gibt es außerdem. Waschmaschine, Trockner, Spülmaschine etc. sind vorhanden und im Neuzustand.

Das Haus liegt in den engen Gassen des alten Dorfkerns. Das ist zwar idyllisch, aber das Navi hatte Probleme; dazu war eine von zwei Wegen aufgrund einer Baustelle gesperrt, was selbst Google-Maps nicht wusste. Die freundlichen Nachbarn haben uns weitergeholfen.
