Dear Guests,
Experience the beauty and tranquility of the East Frisian coast at our charming guesthouse in Hamswehrum, nestled in picturesque rural surroundings. Our little cottage offers you the perfect retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the breathtaking nature of the North Sea coast. This old farmworker’s house is located just 2 kilometers from the sea and offers peace and relaxation in a dreamlike setting across 60 m² of living space. Unfortunately, the accommodations are not suitable for wheelchair users due to accessibility barriers.
The house is located on the outskirts of the village and borders directly on fields and meadows that are bathed in sunlight all day long when the weather is nice.
When you sit in the garden, you can enjoy the fresh breeze and the sweeping view across the fields all the way to the sea dike 2 kilometers away. The surroundings are quiet, and the chirping of the birds creates a soothing atmosphere. Just 100 meters from the house, two sheep graze in a pasture—they’re the charming companions in one of the photos.
The house has two bedrooms. The larger bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a closet and offers a beautiful view of the garden toward the North Sea. The smaller bedroom has a single bed and a closet. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
The fully equipped kitchen with a ceramic-top stove has everything you need for cooking. The adjoining, cozy living area invites you to relax with a dining table, a sofa bed, and a large, antique display cabinet. Four windows provide plenty of natural light. An internet router for an internet connection and a television are also available.
A separate laundry room with a washing machine, which can be used free of charge, offers an additional convenience. As is common in many old farmhouses, the ceilings in some rooms are slightly lower, though always over 2 meters high. The doorways are approximately 190 cm high; only the doorway to the laundry room is about 175 cm high. The house also includes a private parking space.
