Here’s what you can look forward to at the Ostfriesenhuus:
Furnished in a modern country house style, the house features a master bedroom, a children’s room with a 1.40-meter-wide bed, and a race car-themed bed for little car enthusiasts. In the spacious, open-concept living area, you’ll find a wood-pellet fireplace, a comfortable sofa set, a large-screen TV, a Blu-ray player, and free Wi-Fi (we cannot guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed). The large kitchen-dining area in the unique sunroom, with access to the terrace, is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, dishwasher, standing-height convection oven, and all essential appliances.
In the master bathroom, you’ll find a walk-in rainforest shower with underfloor heating and an infrared heat cabin. The second bathroom on the upper floor features a shower and a corner bathtub. A washer-dryer is also available in the utility room.
Everything is equipped to be allergy-friendly (including organic hardwood flooring). The entire living area has underfloor heating.
On the terrace, comfortable patio furniture invites you to relax and enjoy the outdoors. In the garden, there’s plenty of space for our younger guests to play.
The Ostfriesenhuus is particularly child-friendly—it features a separate playroom upstairs, and toys and books are provided. A stroller is also available for outings. Hamswehrum has a playground that’s just a two-minute walk away. The quiet location in Hamswehrum makes the area particularly attractive—yet all nearby attractions are within easy reach.
There is also a crib in the master bedroom. And for rainy days, we’ve set up a small library in the bedroom with mystery novels, fiction, cookbooks, and more.
The house includes a carport; guests’ bicycles can be stored under cover behind the house.
Pets are not allowed in the Ostfriesenhuus. The house is a smoke-free property.
During the Easter and fall school breaks, this accommodations are rented for stays of five nights or more with no fixed changeover day.
The vacation home is located in the small, tranquil village of Hamswehrum, a typical East Frisian polder village not far from the North Sea coast. Here, guests can find peace and relaxation amid green fields and the vast marshlands. The nearby dike is perfect for walks and bike rides along the coast, offering sweeping views of the Wadden Sea. The coastal towns of Greetsiel and Emden are just a short drive away and feature restaurants, shopping, and maritime attractions. An ideal starting point for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation who want to enjoy the tranquility of East Frisia.
