We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Raimundo’s house in Funchal! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Raimundo was a fantastic host, friendly, responsive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was excellent—clean, spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The facilities were great and made our trip even more enjoyable. The location is another major highlight. The house is situated in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood with stunning views over Funchal. There is a grocery store nearby, which was very convenient, and the easy access to the main highway made it simple to explore the island and visit all the attractions Madeira has to offer. Overall, this was one of the best places we have stayed. We highly recommend Raimundo’s house to anyone visiting Funchal and would happily stay here again in the future. Thank you, Raimundo, for helping make our trip such a memorable experience!

The hosts were exceptionally kind and greeted us upon arrival. A lovely welcome gift of Madeiran treats was provided. The property is spacious, well equipped and conveniently located. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare dinner for our family group of 8, and the large dining room table had room to spare. A small market and restaurants are within walking distance, with a large supermarket just a half a mile away. It was the perfect place for our family vacation.
