Very unique and in a picturesque area. Good size bed and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and nicely presented.

Very dark decor. Description says that all rooms have a patio, but that was not correct. Although it says the hotel is in a heritage area, there is no mention that it is up a very steep cobbled path and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems or disabilities. It is also not easy to find from the street. Parking is at the nearby restaurant by the water , but that is not clear unless you read all the reviews We are quite fit, but as we were only staying 1 night, did not bother to lug the suitcase up to the room. Fridge and kettle provided but nowhere to plug them in. No water provided. I understand that’s it’s newly refurbished, but a little more thought needs to be applied, we had to drag the fridge in front of the wardrobe to plug it in! No one to greet us at check in or give us any information regarding. breakfast or locality or show us to the room
