I saw a lot of terrible reviews that made me really nervous about what this place would be like. As others noted, check in is a little unconventional. You arrive and its sort of a bar/store of sorts, and then you meet the owner, who shows you to your room. There is a 20 dollar cleaning fee I wish I knew about prior, but honestly it's not a big deal considering it is already extremely affordable. The room itself was clean, but obviously showed signs of general wear. Had a TV with Roku and mini fridge which was convenient. I've stayed at much grosser motels for maybe 20-30 dollars more than what this place charges. Overall, not exactly a tourist spot but also not grimy and dangerous like the reviews would lead you to believe.

This place is a one floor establishment on top of a small cafe/grocery store. There is no front desk. You have to notify the grocery store cashier so the owner will come to see you. No English, doesn’t understand prepaid reservations.
The rooms are directly above the cafeteria/grocery store that blasts concert level Latin music upto 2 am using speakers that are approximately 3’ tall. So you have free music in all rooms whether you want it or not.
Please be prepared to carry a very good pair of noise canceling headphones if you plan to sleep here. BTW I got what I paid for. Lesson learned.
