Duinhuis Zout Hout is situated right on the dunes, giving you a sense of peace and privacy the moment you arrive. A small, unpaved path leads you to your destination, where nature immediately embraces you. Walk or bike 2–3 km through the dunes and discover the quiet beach of Egmond-Binnen (not accessible by car).

In Egmond-Binnen (2 km), you’ll find a large supermarket for all your essentials. For culture lovers and shopping enthusiasts, the larger cities of Haarlem (25 km) and Amsterdam (40 km) are within easy reach. In addition, the picturesque artists’ village of Bergen and the historic city of Alkmaar are perfect for a day trip or to enjoy the many cozy restaurants and cafés.

By car, you can quickly reach Egmond aan Zee or Castricum aan Zee (5 km). Egmond has a vast family beach stretching no less than 8 kilometers, with several beach access points. A perfect base for an unforgettable vacation!
