The living room is spacious, featuring a TV and Wi-Fi. All my friends connected their phones, making our stay enjoyable.

The corridor is somewhat difficult to navigate with stairs, but they also have an elevator. So far, that's the only aspect I didn't like.

Ok but keep in mind...

We liked how big the place was.

There was one bathroom for such a big place, which didn't make sense when there are so many guests and beds. Also, the elevator didn't work well and was only for 1 person and 1 luggage. Additionally, the spiral stairwell was dangerous and not suitable for elderly people or children. What would happen if there were a fire!?

The apartment was equipped with all the amenities. The place was adequate for maximum 10 people.

The beds were not comfortable. The elevator was very small. The room facing the road was noisy due to Trams running.

I knew it was too good to be true. Rotting meat and maggots in the room!

Good shower

Unbelievable, but there was raw meat on top of the wardrobe in the bedroom. Probably a bad joke by someone, but the result for us was an intense smell of rotting meat combined with a fair amount of maggots. That means you really don't want to sleep in that room, where there were 4 beds. And then you let the owner of the apartment know and they offer a refund of €30,-. No more communication or any other compensation, even if it is in the form of an apology. Very disappointing.

Gehorig en een koude douche

De locatie en de Hongaarse winkel onder het appartement

Toen we aankwamen stonk het heel erg naar riool. Toen we vrijdagavond thuis kwamen, van een gezellig avondje borrelen. Stond er een ander gezin voor de deur, die schijnbaar hetzelfde appartement hadden geboekt. We vergeleken onze boekingen met elkaar en er stond hetzelfde, er was dus een dubbele boeking. Ze hadden de politie gebeld en die stonden toen midden in de nacht in ons appartement. Dit had ik laten weten aan de verhuurder, daar kon geen excuus vanaf. Terwijl wij daardoor een gebroken nacht hadden. Daarnaast is het ontzettend gehorig, je hoort alles wat buiten onder en boven je gebeurt. Dus neem zeker oordoppen mee als je ook een goede nachtrust wil. Op zondagochtend wilde we lekker douchen voor ons vertrek. Maar er was alleen maar ijskoud water.. dus we konden niet fris terug naar huis.

We kregen een vervangend appartement ivm een kapotte verwarming. Was redelijk dicht bij en ook handig vlakbij een supermarkt.

We kregen een vervangend appartement. Redelijk dicht bij, echter zonder een twee persoonsbed. Het stapelbed kraakte heel erg, geen theedoek aanwezig voor de vaat. Aan de voorkant was het gehorig. De scchoonmakers stonden klokslag 10.00 daar en dat kwam niet echt gastvrij over.

Der skulle betales 200 EUR depositum ovenpå ikke-refunderbar betaling på Booking. Det tog 5 dage, inden depositum blev refunderet, og kun efter jeg skrev til kundeservice. Alle senge var køjesenge, i alt 10 på 2 soveværelser. Trappen op til 3e etage var meget smal, svært at gå op og ned med en taske.

Prijs-kwaliteit en de ligging waren prima, maar het contact met de host was verschrikkelijk.

Het appartement was groot. Wij waren met 7 mensen, maar er waren veel meer (stapel)bedden.

De trappen in het gebouw zijn heel smal en donker. Er is wel een kleine, smalle lift. Het stonk echt verschrikkelijk in het gebouw. Er was waarschijnlijk iets met de riolering. Gelukkig viel de stank in het appartement mee als de deuren naar het toilet en de badkamer dicht waren. Zodra die geopend werden, was het wel weer even afzien. Ook de temperatuur was niet goed te regelen. Het weekend dat wij er waren was één van de eerste warme weekenden van het jaar en we moesten echt alle ramen tegen elkaar open zetten om de hitte eruit te krijgen. Ook de inductieplaat was kapot, dus we konden helaas geen gebruik maken van de keuken. Dat waren we wel van plan, dus dat was jammer. Wat ons het meest tegenviel was het contact met de host. We waren ongeveer een uur ingecheckt toen er (in het Engels) via Booking een super onaardig bericht kwam. Als er ook maar één klacht binnen zou komen van geluidsoverlast, zou de borg niet teruggestuurd worden. Op mijn reactie dat ze van ons geen last zouden hebben, maar dat dat juridisch gezien natuurlijk niet kon, kreeg ik niets meer terug. De volgende ochtend heb ik meteen via dezelfde chat gemeld dat de inductiekookplaat kapot was. Ook daar kreeg ik geen reactie meer op. De borg werd wel tijdig teruggestort. Het contact was echter heel bot en onaardig. Ik vind het niet erg om aangesproken te worden als ik gedrag vertoon dat niet door de beugel kon, maar dit sloeg nergens op.

Für eine Nacht okay, aber wegen Kaution und Sauberkeit würden wir nicht wiederkommen.

Für eine Nacht war es okay, die Lage war in Ordnung.

Was uns wirklich geärgert hat, war die Kaution von 200 Euro. Die Gastgeberin hat darauf bestanden und war dabei überhaupt nicht flexibel – sie wollte das Geld ausschliesslich per Überweisung, kein Bargeld und keine Reduzierung möglich. Da wir sechs Personen waren und alle ein knappes Budget hatten, hat uns das total überrascht und letztlich dazu geführt, dass wir unsere Reise vorzeitig abbrechen mussten. Ausserdem ist es sehr ärgerlich, dass man die Kaution nicht vollständig zurückbekommt, und gerade über Ostern dauert eine Rücküberweisung auch noch länger, sodass wir an das Geld nicht schnell wieder rankamen. Das sollte dringend auf Booking klar und gross vermerkt werden, damit Gäste sich darauf vorbereiten können. Zusätzlich war die Unterkunft insgesamt nicht sehr sauber. Es gab einen unangenehmen Geruch im Badezimmer, aber auch im Rest des Hauses war ein seltsamer Geruch wahrnehmbar. Die Hygiene könnte hier wirklich deutlich verbessert werden. Auch die Fotos auf Booking sind sehr vorteilhaft aufgenommen und entsprechen nicht ganz der Realität vor Ort – dadurch hatten wir ehrlich gesagt mehr erwartet. Insgesamt war es für eine Nacht irgendwie okay, aber ich würde definitiv nicht noch einmal dort übernachten.
