Keys of Italy - Vigna Vecchia 24 - Cozy Mezzanine in Santa Croce

Wonderful central location on a side street within five minute walk to cafes, restaurants, museums, etc. quiet street, all the kitchen amenities needed, hot shower, cold AC. Strong Internet. Nice to have separate bedroom and two toilets. Comfortable bed. Large daybed/ couch downstairs. Highly recommended!

Check in instructions were confusing and did not inform us that the door is remotely opened by button within apartment check in app, which requires WiFi to operate. We just saw a button that said “open” in Italian and could not open the door at 11:00 pm. We had issues with opening front door with after hours check in and spare key was not available where it was listed (inside a lock box on a bicycle a few blocks away). Staff may not be available by message after hours to assist. Ask staff to ensure spare key is available ahead of time if you plan to check in after hours. Attempt to connect to apartment WiFi while standing outside the door so you can use the remote lock button to open door and get the key which is inside. Once you get inside everything else works perfectly!

The apartment is located in an amazing lively area! The host is fast to respond and very friendly! We loved our stay in this cozy apartment in Florence :)!

The bed was at times quite hard and slighly uncomfortable pillows!

We liked the location. Within a few minutes you could be at several different sites to see. Several restaurants nearby as well as shopping. It was easy to check in and not far from train station.

The kitchen could use paper towels or hand towels for drying hands and dishes. The street right outside door can be busy and you can hear people talking all hours of the night. Rooms are small but manageable and bed could be more comfortable.

The property was in a fantastic location, located in the heart of the city.

The bedroom door is right onto the main street so noise is a major problem. The front door is glass so there is no sound proofing, so would recommend guests bring earplugs for sleeping.
