A lovely, clean, well equipped and comfortable location. Weather was cold but we were given gas heater and electric blankets. Very secure and safe. Hostess Ilsa very friendly and helpful. A delightful stay.

No complaints.

Good relaxing location.

The owner can tidy up the surrounding area.

The place was beautiful and quaint, and the location was of course amazing!

For some reason we didn't have hot water. I assume the unit has a gas geyser, but no matter what we tried we couldn't get hot water flowing out the taps. Needless to say we weren't able to take a hot shower. I found it surprising that this unit (in the middle of winter right next to the Vaal river) didn't have an electric blanket on the bed. Even though it had an air conditioner, the heat setting didn't seem to work as intended as we tried all the different settings. Even on the correct setting, the hot air from the air conditioner was dismal and barely heated up the room. In summary it was a cold night for us and we had to rely on body heat alone nestled under the blankets to eventually heat us up.
