Nice and quiet place, friendly and helpfull Staff.

We slept on two single beds, the mattresses were very comfortable, suggest you should rather put a proper double bed in there. The shower head did not spray that well as the one jet was broken out. Apart from that we cannot complain.

The scenery and tranquility of the place unfortunately we were arriving at night due to work we could explore more within the vicinity.

Restaurant was nice and welcoming and served a delicious breakfast. The jacuzzi was amazing, just make sure you buy or take enough wood.. The lady in charge of the venue was warm and friendly and changed our first impression from not too great to a lot better.

We got there after 6. The reception and shop were closed and there were no places to get ice or wood until the next day. The lady who showed us to our tent was not very welcoming and our tent was not prepared for our arrival. Even though there is a key deposit charge, some of the tents fixtures were broken. The tents are also not very private for a couple looking for some time alone.

Good location to get away from the city. has a lot going for it i.e. the river, open fields, animals and a small shop on location. peaceful and quiet

I booked four cabins 1, 2, 4 and a safari tent. Attention must be given to following areas before a guest checks in i.e. stove switches and gas burners need to be checked and maintained, some of the blinds were non functional and fell off when trying to operate them. Although there are instructions on how to regulate the hot water this often didn't work and we often had cold or scalding showers. Inside and outside floor mats should be provided to prevent the tracking in of dirt and mud into the cabins and tent - it did rain during our stay and we spent a lot of time mopping and sweeping. Guests should be advised to bring additional towels as we stayed 4 nights and we were had one towel per person and we were informed that towels will not be changed for the duration of our stay. Signage and guest rules and instructions can be more customer centric e.g. there are signs all over the property indictating that we were in the bush and bugs/insects were to be expected - this is fine but the sign goes on further to state that if a guest does not like it then they should have booked at a hotel! I believe that this is unnecessary and does not lend to a good service culture.
