Navona Comfort Rooms

Navona Comfort Rooms provided everything we needed for a quick, comfortable stay in Rome. The room was bigger than expected, with a large bathroom and adequately sized shower. The property has three locks which makes it feel safe and secure. It is located on a busy street with numerous restaurants and shops, and very close to Piazza Navona. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Trevi fountain and 20 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. The staff were friendly and helpful and offered daily cleaning. There is also a well-equipped shared kitchen. It was located on the first floor, but the staff helped carry luggage up the steps.

Note there is no elevator but only two sets of stairs. There is a small wall next to the air conditioning unit which we think inhibited the cool air from reaching the bed.

Loved the location! Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen.

Lovely, modern, comfortable during terrible heat wave. Staff was friendly, helpful. Location couldn’t be beat.

*The location is great! *The decor, very pleasant *The assistant/ supervisor/ housekeeper, Jun...he is excellent, diligent, helpful and attentive to one's needs and impeccably clean. *Excellent idea to have passwords/ pins versus keys to carry around! When I return to beautiful Roma, I look forward to staying at Navona Comfort Rooms again!

One's first impression upon walking into the building to be greeted by garbage containers is a down side one gets used to. I come from a family in the hospitality trade, owners of the Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town and Oude Werf in Stellenbosch. Some suggestions: 1.Each room should have its own coffee machine so one can have coffee in bed early morning without needing to get up, out of pyjamas, get dressed etc 2. Room 101: the Led light strips in the passage turn on once one takes a step down when leaving the room but you can't see the step before the lights turn on. Might be safer to put a white reflective tape to assist with this.
