The location. It was in a part of London that was close to Notting Hill, Hyde Park and the Kensington Palace. Access to buses was at our Front door and the Notting Hill Gate station was 2 minutes walk away.
The stairs. It was a typical London walk up apartment and there was a number of stairs to navigate. It is hard for senior citizens with luggage. Kenan, our host, provided invaluable Assistance for us.

Loved our stay at The Pearl of Notting Hill. Access to the property was easy using codes at any time, never have to worry about not having a card or key during the stay. Hosts accommodated our request to leave our bags early and were super helpful throughout helping us with a couple of requests. Property has a sofa bed in the lounge so easily has 3 separate rooms for sleeping. The location is brilliant, just a few steps to the Notting Hill Gate station or buses and an easy wander down Portobello Road. Would love to go back and stay again!
Our stay was during a heat wave so a little air-con would've been great - probably not an issue for most stays however :)
